House with wildlife (scorpions, wasps and birds)

Nice house located in the country side. But the house is not very well maintained and I would not recommend it if you are not a big fan of scorpions in all bedrooms, hundreds of wasps in and around the pool and swallows nesting everywhere. We had to keep doors and windows closed to keep the birds out of the kitchen. We were a group with five kids (4-12y) and it was quite stressful to worry about them being bitten by the scorpions. The owner did spray some kind of poison in the house, but that did not seem to have any affect on the scorpions as we kept on finding them everywhere. The owner didn't understand our worries as she explained that their poison was not deadly.. All kids were stung by the wasps in the pool area and the owner actually did call in an exterminator that managed to reduce the amounts of wasp a bit but there were still extremely many of them. The birds pooped all over the place and we had to handle on bird being stuck in the ceiling at one point and a nestling slowly dying as it had being kicked out of the nest. In addition to the wild life, the A/C did not work properly and the pool was only cleaned once upon our request. The house is overpriced and nothing I would recommend to anyone interested in a relaxing holiday. Our week here was just stressful and the owners just blamed nature and did not take any responsibility. The description of the beds and bathroom does not match the actual furnishing and facilities. There was not enough of plates and glasses.

Wunderschöne Villa im Grünen

Die Villa ist wunderschön und liegt mitten im Grünen etwa 2km nordöstlich von Filipini abgelegen. Die Ausstattung ist super und war bei uns für 10 Personen mehr als ausreichend. Der Außenbereich mit Terrasse, Grill, Pool und sehr viel Wiese lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir können die Villa sehr empfehlen. Auf dem riesigen Grundstück befindet sich noch eine zweite Villa relativ daneben. Da die beiden Villen optisch durch Bäume getrennt sind, ist das wirklich keine Einschränkung und man bekommt von den "Nachbarn" sehr wenig mit.

Marvelous and relaxing stay. We had all our meals outside on the dinner table.

I surely recommend. Many swallows in the garden. Dont forget earplugs in the night. Nice plays for kids. We played badminton and rested in the hammocks. Big garden and many nice flowers.
