Quirky old school vibes with a touch of back to nature. Took me back to when I was a kid. My kids loved the cottage and we will defs be back to stay again. Thankyou the Radford clan
Excellent place for holiday. The floor is wooden the reason why there are little bit noise from Neihbour however that’s not a problem. It’s manageable. Overall it’s a nice.

We enjoyed our stay at Karribank. This was despite having booked what we thought was a Cottage we found ourselves in Chalet type accommodation with a mezzanine. Beds were clean and comfortable but the general surrounds weren’t up to scratch. A bedside light would have been useful upstairs rather than having to stand on the bed to try and reach a short pull chord. The heater was at times difficult to light. The Restaurant/Bar (when Open) was adequate but the Bar staff pleasant. Food served in Takeaway containers.
A pleasant enough stay in beautiful surrounds but not 4 Star.
A calm, relaxing place with your full privacy. We spent 3 beautiful days in this place and would certainly come back! On a side note, there's no network coverage except for Telstra. There are no air cons, but you won't need them anyways. Love this place!!!

The cabin had a lovely Verandah but there were no fly screens on the French doors. Flyscreen here would be great so that you can open the doors to the outside without worrying about flies and mosquitoes. The kitchen was very basic and I was disappointed because I thought there was an oven. But still managed to cook nice meals. Overall the stay was lovely, we had a great time and love the location.
1. It was very cold and the oil-filled radiator was totallly inadequate for heating up the room.
As we were merely handed the key when we arrived and were not shown what was available, we did not find out that there was another heating appliance in the room until the next day. In fact, when the owner came to our room in the evening of the first day the get the TV working on the ABC, we commented how the radiator was totally useless in heating the room, he commented that we should 'cuddle up' to stay warm. Not a very helpful suggestion to a couple of 83-years olds!
2. The kapok quilt is so heavy that any elderly client would have problems turning around in bed. It weighs a ton and belongs in another century. We removed it for the second night and used our travel rug and down clothing items to get a reasonably comfortable sleep.
not internet available.not any room service available. what they written in advertisement not all the things available.

We booked because of the cheap price (and because there was a pub 😊). We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the accomodation was. There was a lot of room, each cabin was private and the view was beautiful. It was Fantastic sitting on the porch in the morning with a coffee or the evening with a wine. I highly recommend staying here. We will definitely be back
The accommodation is really well located in the middle of the Porongurups, with all the necessities for fully self contained. The views from the balcony are fantastic. With that said, the bungalows are quite old and walls are thin so we could hear everything going on next door. We enjoyed our stay.
Lovely location and property setting. We got a very reasonable price for a 4 person chalet out the back of the property. We stayed as a couple in the 4 person chalet. It had great views of the porongurups with own bathroom and small kitchenette. It was possible to park right next to the chalet for taking bags in and out. The downside was that each of the chalets in the 4 person chalets has a shared wall with another chalet, so the noise does transfer from one to the other. The other downside was that a couple of the days we stayed there the temperature got up to 38 degrees and it was uncomfortable during that heat to be in the chalet between 1pm-5pm without any air conditioning. There seemed to be 2 of the same chalets as ours with air con, however the rest like ours appeared to have just pedastool fans.
Overall it was a pleasant stay. We used the karri on bar (reception/restaurant area) a lot to play board games and have some food and drinks out of the heat. It was a great spot.
I would recommend this property, however I would enquire about airconditioning in the summer, as I think the chalet we stayed in was better suited to an autumn/winter or mild spring stay, for comfort.

Great location and comfortable chalets
We loved our stay here. The chalets are simple but comfortable. The location is perfect to explore the local area, and it was great having the bar and restaurant on site for meals and a few drinks without the need to drive! Would definitely recommend and we will be staying here again in the future.
A nice and pleasant stay. Strategic location for hiking at nearby range.

A little bit of Paradise
This is a such a hidden gem.
Our room was larger than expected and very well appointed. We enjoyed breakfast on our verandah each day. The accommodation is spread over a large area, so nice & quiet.
The grounds are lovely and well located within the Porongurups.
Karribank is family run & very personable. The bar serves great food and wine. Such a great vibe.
Will definitely return.

Dress warm!
This is a lovely property in the middle of the Porongurups however the chalets are quite small and basic so four people would find it more than a little squeezy. Our chalet was very clean, reasonably comfortable and we were grateful for the large gas heater on a very cold night.
