As you wind down the lane, you will sense that you are arriving somewhere incredibly special. Passing a field on your left and a wooded forest on your right, you’ll soon see the beautiful, Bavarian-style, Holiday Haus peeking through the cedars. You’ll feel right at home as you walk through the brick archway and into a courtyard with greens and flowers to greet you. As you step inside the front door, you’ll be swept into a state of wonder by the fascinating design and architecture surrounding you from floor to ceiling. You’ll see evidence of imagination in the brickwork, timber framing, hard scape, skylights, interior and exterior balconies, quality woodwork, the magnificent vaulted ceiling, and so much more. With multiple expansive areas to gather both indoors and outdoors, and huge, themed bedrooms to relax in, you’ll have the perfect space to celebrate at Holiday Haus. Here you’ll enjoy unique amenities that include double cooktops in the kitchen, massive fridge and freezer, wet-bar, wood fireplace, propane fireplace, extra sinks in the bedrooms, European-style bathrooms, large hot tub, protected fire pit, cedar decks, and outdoor kitchen area. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet and even though neighbors are nearby, you’ll have plenty of privacy at Holiday Haus—there are trees on three sides for shelter, and a spacious field for distance. And to top it all off, our neighborhood is just up the road from the beautiful Olympic Discovery Trail—so you can walk, bike, or jog through Northwest beauty from your home base! While staying at Holiday Haus you’ll be a short distance to many local gems including the entire Olympic National Park, Lake Crescent Lodge, Lake Sutherland, Elwha River, Salt Creek Recreation Area, Olympic Adventure Trail, Camaraderie Cellars, Harbinger Winery, Barhop Brewing, Extreme Sports Park, William R. There are just a few things to note prior to booking your stay at Holiday Haus:
• The area is home to bears, coyotes, hawks, eagles, and neighboring dogs—awareness of wildlife and neighbors is needed and all are to be respected.
• Wild and unruly parties are absolutely prohibited.
• Our pet fee is $100 per pet.
• The detached shop/construction zone and attached garage is prohibited from guest use.
• Limited wood will be provided for the outdoor fire pit, additional wood may be purchased.
• Limited Presto logs will be provided for the indoor fireplace—one is complimentary and two additional Presto logs may be purchased for $8 a piece.
When you prepare to leave: Please collect your food items from inside and outside and put them in the trash. Collect your garbage and recycling from inside and outside and put them in the appropriate bin. Turn off the room heaters, whole house heater, whole house air conditioning, fans, and lights when you leave. Collect all your dishes inside and outside and make sure all dishes have been washed or are in the process of being washed in the dishwasher. If you rearrange the furniture or move items around, please return them to their original placement.
