Remodeled 1973 Silver Streak camper first owned by beloved Peter Jennings. Maggie has three cozy beds, steaming hot tiny shower and super fast Fiber Wi-Fi. You will not need to get out of bed to watch the Sunrise, just open the curtains and enjoy the lightshow. Fantastic kitchen appliances, coffee station, soft linens, 2 Roku TV, Bluetooth sound system, stylish décor with Retro vibe and all Waterfront since the camper is at Sunrise on Mag RV Park. Glamping at it's best with fantastic view!

My husband and I live on site and will be able to assist through our guests stay or will arrange for someone to help.

Magnolia Beach is a rural community along the Matagorda Bay in Port Lavaca, TX. Perfect to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Driving down Ocean Drive will give you a sense of being in a peninsula with the Bay on one side and Wetlands on the other side. The sittings of different variety birds is unreal. This is a true disconnect type of place, so even though is ideal for fishing, hunting, boating, kayaking, biking, birding you will need to bring your gear as there are not commercial rental places around. It's important that you bring water shoes to get in the water or walk the shore since our public beach has tiny Sea Shell as sand.

This area is loaded with Texas History since in the 1800s many German Immigrants came through the Indianola Port (few miles south from our house). The booming town was destroyed by several Hurricanes in the late 1800s pushing many of the settlers to move inland. You can still drive by the ruins of the Court House of the growing town that once was.

Most Restaurants and stores are 20-30 minutes away. You are welcome to bring your toys (Fishing gear, Golf cart, Bikes, Boat, Kayaks etc.), we have plenty of room to park them and our community allows their use with common sense rules. 4 Wheelers are NOT allowed on the beach.

MUST BE 23 YEARS OR OLDER to be able to book the property. Host will require a copy of a valid ID of the person doing the booking reservation.


Having more guests than what the reservation was made for is a violation to the Reservation Agreement and House Rules, charges of $75/per additional person per night will be assessed or immediate termination of your stay and there will be NO refund.
The only guests allowed on the property at any given time is the number of guests registred on the reservation.

USE OF THE OWNER'S PERSONAL PIER: The owner's of the home live next door and have a personal pier that they are giving access to their guests renting any of their 7 rentals on this location. Owner has the right to deny access to guests that do not follow the following common sense guidelines to use their personal pier.
1) Only guests registered on the reservation can have access to the Owner's Personal Pier. Friends/Family of the guests who are not part of the group registered to stay at the vacation home may NOT have access/use of the Owner's Personal Pier.
2) Keep the gate of the pier locked at all times. A key is provided to each rental. If the key is lost, guest will have a $50.00 key replacement charge.
3) This is a shared pier, be considerate of the space of other guests fishing at the pier. Occupying all of the rod holders by one guest is not acceptable.
4) Dispose of any left over bait in the bay
5) Remove from the water before leaving the pier any bait buckets, fish on strings or crab traps.
6) Clean your area before leaving the pier and take any trash you created with you.

No Smoking inside the RV or near doors. If cleaning crew detects smoke smell inside of the house or burnt marks on personal property, host will seek a $500 cleaning fee plus any additional cost to replace the damaged property.

Any acts of violence, loud arguments or fighting will result in the immediate termination of your stay and there will be no refund. The same is true if the police are called to the house.

Smoking Marijuana on the property grounds will result in immediate termination of guests stay without refund.

The space will be in clean and working condition. No compensation will be given for non-working items outside the owner's control, including but not limited to: power outages, internet outages, etc. For items inside the owner's control, owner will make every attempt to rectify any problems that may occur. It is Guest's responsibility to notify the owner immediately if there are any problems. No refunds or other compensations will be given for problems owner is able to rectify within a reasonable timeframe. Guests will be responsible for costs of any repairs for problems caused by actions of Guest.

Do not dispose fish carcasses at the grounds dumpster. Clean fish by the bay and feed the fish in the water with the carcasses.

NO parking in front of grounds dumpster. Grounds dumpster is black with orange letters between the House and the 6 spot RV park on the side.

No pet are allowed. Host will ask guest to remove pet from property for the duration of their stay. Pet penalty of $250.00 will be assessed be paid immediately to Host and/or guest may be asked to leave the property without refund.

Check-In is on or after 4:00 PM

Check-Out is on or before 11:00 AM. Time beyond 11:00 AM can only be arranged the night before check out and if approved it will be at a charge of $30/hr paid upon approval. As check out process, guest will leave dishes clean, remove all food from refrigerator/freezer, all trash taken to the grounds dumpster, lock the house and message host once everyone have left the property.

Quiet hours are from 11 PM - 9 AM. Except Holidays--The whole community will be up and celebrating!

Guest and guest's invitees shall fully defend, indemnify and hold harmless the owners, managers and business entity acting on behalf of the owners from any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury, of any kind whatsoever (including without limitation all claims for monetary loss, property damage, equitable relief, personal injury and/or wrongful death) for the use of the property as vacation home, amenities, facilities, grounds, fishing pier and/or equipment provided (such as but not limited to bikes, kayaks, fishing gear, beach chairs etc.) used during guests stay while on our property or outside of our property. The indemnification applies to and includes, without limitation, the payment of all penalties, fines, judgements, awards, decrees, attorneys' fees, and related costs or expenses, and any reimbursements for all legal fees, expenses, and costs incurred by it.

Relaxing Stay
My hubby and I needed a few days away and the Maggie was the perfect choice. It's like a little diamond in the rough. The hostess was sweet and communicated well. There were several amenities that were nice that we didn't have to worry about bringing. And the area was nice and quiet just as we wanted. The trailer is not super big by any means but the beds were very very comfortable and the air conditioner worked very well. The only negative I could find is that the trailer needs leveled. It actually leans pretty heavy to one side but that didn't bother us too much. We just slept with our head at the other end of the bed. But everything else was great! We will definitely consider staying here should we make our way to that side of Texas again. We highly recommend it for a couple who is just looking to get away and get some peace and quiet and a little rest.

Very impressed with the cleanliness and attention to little details. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Bedding was extremely comfortable, and such a joy to wake in the morning to the sound of crashing waves. Host seemed genuinely interested in our comfort. Absolutely the best time.
