The wee cottage is beautiful and peaceful - extremely dog friendly and welcoming. Sitting with morning coffee with the double doors wide open looking out at the valley and ocean in distance was bliss. We were surprised at how warm it was for the beginning of winter and Mike the owner is so easy going

Perfect Paradise
An idyllic retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Perfect peace, void of the sound of traffic, just birdsong and a picturesque valley view. Congenial host. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent secluded spot with all necessities. Mike very easy going with my curious whippet, who also loved her stay. The view, birds and wildlife was so peaceful. I could not get mobile phone connection, which i did not mind. Comfy and rustic. Thank you.

Such a beautiful spot, photos didn't do it justice it was so much more lovely, helped that it was 2 stunning days with warm sun on the porch, no outdoor fire pit anymore but very cosy and warm in hut with heaters for heating. Mike is very friendly and helpful. Comfy bed and another double bed with the pull out couch. Very easy, clear directions to follow :)

Property on the hill looking down to the sea. Nice view. Wee cottage a proper "Kiwiana" kind of bach. It was just peaceful and chill out. Nice to get away from everything. Mike, the host, is very friendly and helpful, very welcoming. A nice person. The other rental on the property is really cool, wouldn't mind a stay in there also. Good weekend - family came to stay one night with us, great to catch up with them. Thank you very much for your hospitality Mike.

Mike is a super host, always happy to help and very welcoming. The Chelston property is a beautiful lifestyle block with historical buildings and antique bits and bobs thoughtfully displayed around the property. I had an amazing experience!

Beautifully located area in port levy, very much enjoyed our stay with my partner and large bulldog. Mike was so helpful always knew where he was if we needed anything or had any questions but also gave us so much privacy and made us comfortable on our short stay, very easy to deal with and friendly will definitely be back!
