Evacuation stay from Hurricane Milton
The positive.
- condo updated, modern, nicely cleaned except coffee maker. Extra towels/sheets if need. Location quiet but close to I-95. Guard gate security plus for car, personal safety. Plenty lighting to walk dog at night, many restaurants, shops within mile or so. Check-in easy at guard gate.
The negative.
Surprised 1 bed/1 bath condo with washer & dryer is studio - 2 rooms - size of mid range hotel i.e.Quality Inn, Best Western. Because description says a bed, bath, washer/dryer type condo, led to believe normal condo with kitchen, sitting area, etc. And because language didn't say "studio","2 room" or specify small sq feet, further led to thought renting normal 1 bed/1bath condo. Very disappointing. Wouldn't rented had I known. Had to climb on chair for coffee maker in highest cabinet plus it was dirty full of mold. Mini frig had freezer 1/4 filled with buildup of ice. No ice trays to have ice in a drink. No washer/dryer in condo - guess have to drive somewhere on property to do wash and pay? Left in hurry not bringing much clothes and hadn't planned sitting waiting on laundry like younger laundry mat days. Disappointed again.
Outside of dirty coffee maker rest of negative because listing inaccurate not letting renter know exactly what was renting. Had description been true, transparent & what was looking for, rental would have been PERFECT. Instead I was extremely disappointed to what was already a stressful time. Pls update to better meet everyone's needs.
