Cute atmosphere for the holiday season. Our group loved the sauna to warm up after walking around in the snow. Cute outside hanging areas. We have been coming back for years. Also enjoyed the addition of the pizza uno just across the parking lot. Only downfall was the breakfast. We used to look forward to the breakfast because it was better than your typical hotel breakfast, but this year was not the case. Lacking in offerings, and the sausage was a questionable color.

This was a vintage chalet type property with a spectacular solid oak floor (that was in need of refinishing). The view from the room made me feel like I was living in a treehouse. There was a nice balcony. Room was comfortable. Decor was very nice and pleasantly decorated for Christmas. Hot breakfast. Staff were pleasant. Stairs. I enjoyed my stay here more than the Ritz.

This is my favorite hotel in Midwest. Has definitely New England vibe. Super clean, comfortable beds with cotton sheets. Good breakfast (waffles, pork links, yogurt and juice). Near by Indiana Dunes parks and safe neighborhood

27th Anniversary night runied
We only stayed 4 hours then was refunded our money when we found pieces of clear plastic in the whirlpool tub that after 40 minutes was still not full enough to turn in the jets. Found out they had spend 4 days fixing this room after last person trashed it. No shower curtain had to go get one from them. Light slash exhaust fan in bathroom was very noisey like something was broke inside of it. Room had very bad lighting had to use flash light to see all the floating plastic in the tub. Was aa clam as i could be when i demanded the redund off our money.

Five Star if you consider price. Very clean. Shows its age in some areas but everything worked well. Breakfast consistent with chains would be nice for groups with nice gathering space Staff friendly and attentive Would recommend and stay again

Such a cozy, inviting vibe! There were common areas that were very welcoming. The balconies and views and outdoor areas were very peaceful. Very handy having a restaurant/bar within walking distance.

This was an excellent stay. A charming woodsy resort. Old cabin style decor. Rooms were clean and well maintained and staff was helpful and attentive. It's a very nice location with balconies for every room. The rooms on the backside have a woodsy view. There is a conference center and a Pizzeria Uno on property. The continental breakfast is what you would expect but was still good. If you are looking for a relaxing place with a charming vibe this is it.
