We have nothing but positive things to say. We stayed five night while visiting our adult daughter who lives three blocks from the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable with a great view. Breakfast was above average for hotel breakfasts. Every staff member we encountered greeted us and was very friendly. Two front desk workers were particularly helpful: Parris and Walks(?). We will definitely stay here again when we return to see our daughter in Portland.

We came for a concert at Moda Center and it was a great spot for 2 adults & 2 children. There were several restaurants within walking distance. Valet staff were kind & courteous and didn't take long to retrieve our vehicle when we checked out. The kids had a great time in the pool area and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. Highly recommend this place. Will definitely stay again.

One typically visits a gas station to find toilet paper they provide. It appeared one guest used the wallpaper instead of their sandpaper. That was a little gross. The real low point was the a/c unit. It turned on and off every 10 minutes all nught long. It sounded like an animal was trying to escape the duct. I came home exhausted. The corner room had a great view though.

I booked a room for one night for my 20 year-old son and his girlfriend who were heading back to Seattle from LA. Before booking I read your complete website and nowhere does it say that you must be 21 years-old to book a stay or stay without someone over 21. When my son checked in he was told that the hotel doesn’t allow people under 21 to book a room or stay without someone over 21. Eventually someone with more seniority said the hotel would make an exception - unless there was too much noise or the smell of marijuana and they would be kicked out. The people working the desk were rude to my son for no reason. If you don’t allow people under 21 to stay without being accompanied by someone over 21 this should be made explicit on your website.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities including pool, comfortable rooms, walking distance to great restaurants and shops including Powell's. The breakfast buffet has some vegan-friendly options including almond and soy milks, oatmeal, cereal, fruits, toast, and bagels - would be great if the waffle batter was made vegan friendly at some point.

If you have to go to Portland this will do.
Nothing wrong with the hotel but we were disappointed with the City. There is not a lot to see and many areas feel unsafe. The service was good and the breakfast was fine but the room was just OK.
