The staff was very friendly and helpful and although the rooms were very small they were clean and modern. The hotel was close to all the sites with some good restaurants and completely walkable to the river and train station.

Something to be aware of, there was no bathroom door, no bathroom wall (sliding see-through lattice), and the shower door was clear glass, so expect no privacy.

No street parking in the area, only in a garage, within walking distance from the bridge and other attractions. The breakfast was ok. The room had some fixed lights that were annoying, so bring eye masks. The staff were very nice, helpful and professional. I liked the fact the small refrigerator was empty for us to put our stuff. The bar was nice, the mojitos were excellent. The shower was spacious. And it included shampoo, conditioners and bath gel, unlike others we have stayed that provided no conditioner.

Great location that felt like it was just outside of the tourist zone (even though it's technically in it). A quiet block but a short walk to everything. The front desk staff was super friendly and helpful. There are only 2 minor downsides... (1) there are SO many light switches in the unit and it's unclear what controls what and (2) it would be nice if there was an electric hot water kettle in the room so that we could enjoy tea on the cute deck off the room. We would definitely recommend a stay here.

The staff at the hotel are all really helpful, friendly and efficient. The breakfast room is too small for the amount of guests so was chaotic most mornings - food couldn't be replenished quickly enough and there could be a wait for a table. The rooms are clean, the beds comfortable - but the layout of the bathroom connected to the bedroom doesn't work when there are two people sharing the room. It's impossible to shut the bathroom off so if someone is at the sink/shower/toilet with a light on, and the other person is in bed asleep, they are disturbed by both the noise and need for a light to be switched on.

The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. The area is far enough from the main part of the city to be nice and quiet, but close enough to be a reasonable walk to most spots. We loved the style of the interior, especially the hallways. We would recommend The Arts Hotel Porto to anyone and will be staying here again whenever we decide to visit again.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Inês was our point of contact. Before we arrived, she helped us arrange pickup from the airport. Eduardo from JCM tours picked us up and gave us a very pleasant and informative ride to the hotel. We were impressed with how beautifully appointed the hotel is. It is compact, chic, and clean. We had everything that we needed and more. The breakfast service is FANTASTIC and offers a full range of tasty foods. The hotel is centrally located, so we could get to most things on foot within 15 minutes, but if you want to venture outside, there are several eateries on the same block -- Bread and Breakfast, Ramen, and others. I highly recommend Arts Hotel Porto as the place to stay in an absolutely magical city.
