Excellent location, just a short walk to the waterfront and downtown. Great service, comfortable room, and generous breakfast. Somewhat limited dining options, but certainly nothing to complain about. Beautiful river views, as well. I would absolutely stay there again!

Good size room and very confortable bed and bathroom, the hotel also has a great view from the roof top, overall I would definitely recommend it.

I very much enjoyed my stay in this hotel: *great location - walking distance to the main Porto attractions and close taxi journey to the airport *very professional and helpful Reception Team *I had a beautiful view from my room (highly recommend booking river-view room to enjoy that) *breakfast was very good; I also received a bottle of very good Porto wine on arrival which was very nice gesture Thank you!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is phenomenal for food and shopping. If you book excursions (winery/boat tours etc.), they are easily accessible by an inexpensive uber ride.

Stayed here for 4 nights- the river view was amazing - we spent every night having some wine outside on our balcony. Rooms were a bit small but clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We did the buffet for breakfast on our last day - it was a traditional scrambled eggs, meats, cheeses and assorted croissants and other baked goods - it was ok - but as with all hotel breakfast- you’re paying a high price for convenience. We enjoyed having drinks in the little bar one night since we were exhausted after spending all day walking. There’s not much near the hotel - so shopping and restaurants are a 10 minute walk away, and that might be 10 minutes uphill. Overall would recommend- note we were there in November and it was busy- can’t imagine what it’s like in the summer.

Beautiful area with stunning views of the Douro River and Dom Luis Bridge. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, even at night. The city center appears free from issues like drugs, violence, and homelessness. Low railings on the bridge and no barriers on metro tracks. Located near the Douro River and Dom Luis Bridge, with access to Vila Nova de Gaia. Main attractions are about a 20-minute uphill walk away, including São Bento station, Clérigos Tower, University of Porto, and Lello Bookstore. I suggest to take Uber/Bolt instead of walking. About 3-5 euros. Transportation:Bolt is cheaper - Taxi from Campanhã station: 10 euros - Bolt to Campanhã station: 3.09 euros (7-10 minute ride) - Taxi to São Bento station: 5 euros Taxi drivers were friendly but spoke little English. Bolt driver spoke English. Staff were friendly, some knowledgeable, some not. Room: - Upgrade not mentioned at check-in but it appears we got one, we were looking for a microwave we got a kitchen! - We booked a river view, great view! Bonus balcony! - No noise, we were in front of an elevator. - Spacious and well-laid out - Amenities: lotion, shampoo, conditioner, ionic hair dryer - Free bottle of wine (traded for water) - We had good sleep! Pros: - Sockets on both sides of bed - Key slot near door - Light switches near bed - High ceilings - Well-lit room - Bathroom ledge Cons: - Towel rack far away - Wardrobe door close to bed Overall, a pleasant stay with beautiful views and a comfortable room.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The proximity to, and view of, the river, bridges, and ancient buildings was breathtaking. It was easy to walk to several authentic restaurants nearby. The staff was professional, efficient, and helpful. The breakfast buffet in the mornings was beautiful. My rooms (I stayed there on either side of a retreat in Ponte de Lima) were spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. I would stay there again in a heartbeat if I return to Portugal.

My husband and I stayed in this hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff were so helpful at arranging transport to and from the airport. The staff also was extremely helpful answering questions we had. The breakfast was wonderful with many different options each day. I highly recommend this hotel.

Check in was amazing - even a glass of port wine to welcome us. My room over looked the Douro River - what a treat! Plus it was so clean with a very comfortable bed, lots of towels, refrigerator, pot to heat water and a expresso coffee maker. What more could one ask for.

We had a balcony with a river view and an easy walk to the stairs. The staff is super helpful and friendly. We would recommend for people to stay there and we would love to return.
