Top notch 5 star hotel. Rooms were super quiet even though you’re right in the middle of town. Beds were comfortable, pool was heated inside and outside, restaurant was delicious for breakfast and dinner……I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. Careful parking on the street though, my car got impounded and it was $200 to get it back from the police. Pay the $30 per day and use the garage around the corner

Delightful hotel
Delightful hotel, very high quality rooms and super comfortable bed and linens. My only complaint is that there were no USB outlets in the room. There were 12 electrical outlets, surely in a 5 star hotel one of these could be changed to a USB port, it is 2024 after all!

The G.A. Palace is absolutely a 5 Star property. From the moment you arrive, the welcome and assistance of staff (most bi/triingual) is just outstanding. The facility is beautifully decorated and appointed; rooms and suites are spacious, with useful and luxurious amenities. The hotel offers an amazing outdor-indoor pool with loungers, sauna, steam room, spa and fitness room. The breakfast is beyond anything I've experienced with a tremendous choice, all fresh, and staff on hand to greet you and assist, pour beverages . The Acqua dining rom is superb - we had an absolutely delicious dinner (our table had chicken and vegetarian main dishes), with helpful service for wine selection as we were not too familiar with Portugese wines. They picked a winer! Plus the hotel is certainley within walking distance of best things and areas to take in (although Porto has hills!) I would absolutely stay here again and can recommend the GA Palace if staying in Porto.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the GA Palace Hotel. It is a beautiful hotel. The lobby, restaurant, and amenities are very nicely done. Our room was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfasts offered a very nice selection and the pastries were amazing! Best of all, the staff were very friendly and engaging. They made us feel at home.

Property was clean and beautiful. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and received a bottle of sparkling wine as part of my Expedia Gold benefit. We did have to ask for this benefit though, it would have been nice if our room was a little decorated for our honeymoon. Otherwise, breakfast and the staff was great. Hotel room very high end.

Beautiful hotel, and our room was perfect! The hotel was well situated within walking distance to lots of dining options. The Expedia listing says self parking onsite is available, but the hotel only has 3 spaces so we ended up needing to park in a public garage half a block away. Very close, 20 euros for the night. The complimentary sparkling wine and cheese tray were a wonderful and unexpected touch. Highly recommend!

Amazing small luxury hotel in the heart of Porto, with a great Italian restaurant, rich breakfast options and relaxing spa and heated pool. We loved our room and the management which strived to make us extra comfortable when a few glitches occurred. Very well done, thank you so much, you know how to treat clients. Folks! This is the BEST Hotel that I have ever stayed in, in all the countries. Service is just tops. No request is big. And all that with a smile. Smiles everywhere. Fantastic hotel. And the manager, Mr “Burundi” Valentine is just phenomenal. If I ever come to Porto again (next summer hopefully), will only stay here. Fantastic.
