This hotel is an absolute gem. Miguel is wonderful- so knowledgeable and gave us excellent local recommendations as well as a glass of port on entry! Room was fantastic- beautifully presented. Area is ideal for walking around Porto. Breakfast is excellent too. All round fantastic experience here.

This was such a lovely hotel. Very clean and cozy. The breakfast was so good. Staff was extremely helpful and spoke English very well. It was very conveniently located to lots of public transit. Highly recommend.

Not worth it...
The room was OK, but the lack of soundproof really ruined the sleep quality. You can hear when the cars are passing, people above you moving or even taking a shower, or even someone who just talks a floor below you.. The shower feels that it will freeze you and then scald you in a second. The garden that looks pretty alright in the pictures, in the real life looks pretty meh.

Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel, staff were super helpful and friendly, especially Martha at front desk, she was amazing. Walking distance to bridges and Gaia and other attractions.

This property was a beautiful, serene oasis in Porto. Everything about it is beautiful, relaxing and spa-like. The staff was top-notch hotel staff, professional, knowledgeable and they went out of their way to satisfy any requests. I wish I could find comparable properties everywhere I travel. Highly recommend!

Very quiet for it's city location. Everything ranks highly - including breakfast - except I docked a point from Comfort because of the awful, so-called water-saving shower. The staff are aware of this and will be replacing the units.

excellent small hotel in PORTO
Overall, I was impressed bu this hotel and the group of hotel SHIADO that run them, having stayed in 3 of their other properties in Lisboa & Porto. My room was of an excellent size. Only faults: breakfast although very tasty and reasonably varied could get boring after three nights. Unfortunately some HUAWEI free buds ear phones went missing on my last night in the hotel from my room. They may yet still be found at the hotel but... So do put everything in the safe just in case. Apart from that a wonderful stay here.
