Wonderful Porto trip
We had a fantastic stay in Porto, our apartment was really central and looked out over the river, which transformed at night with all the lights, bustle, music and atmosphere. The Hotel company made our stay easy and really stress free, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Thanks so much.

Excellent spacious apartment, Clean friendly staff ,safe you can prepare your coffee, tea, prepare your own meal or buy and get warmed up, if you need grocery is downstairs, restaurants are at the beach front 5 minutes walk This area is very beautiful lot to see , don’t forget the view the sunset. One day not enough you need at least two to three days to stay in Porto. Oca Ribeira apartments are excellent place stay.

Esto sae anunció como un hotel pero la verdad es que son unos departamentos que están junto al hotel y no tienen servicio de limpieza diaria por lo que solamente te lo entregan limpio cuando llegas pero después tú tienes que tender camas y limpiar el departamento lo cual es muy incómodo por lo que Expedia no debe de anunciarlo como un hotel pues es un engaño

This hotel was a great little gem, located just steps away from the river and the lively waterfront scene there. There are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance as are many of the local attractions. It is also located in the old, historic part of Porto that is an attraction unto itself if you enjoy history and architecture. The beach in either Porto or on the Gaia side of the river is only about 5 kilometers away (3 miles) and are easily reached by bicycle, Uber, or taxi. The hotel is two separate buildings. The main building, closest to the river has the reception and breakfast room. The second building which is just a few doors up the street has apartments/rooms only. I was in the second building and my room was large, comfortable, clean, and quiet once the scene along the Ribeira shut down around 11 p.m. My room was also recently renovated with all hard surface flooring, a big comfortable bed, and a nice table/chairs set and a sofa. The room also had a small kitchenette which was all modern and new but I didn’t use it. The bathroom was also clean and new, but like many European hotel bathrooms it was not designed as well as it could have been. Space between the toilet and the glass shower was an issue and it didn’t need to be that way. All in all I was very satisfied with this hotel and my stay and it was a great bargain too!

The staff at Oca Ribeira Porto were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our room was in a building just up the hill from the river. Our room was large and clean. It included a kitchenette space. The location is in the heart of Ribeira and is busy during the day but quieter at night. It is a great location for activities along the river and across the river in Gaia. It is a bit of a walk to the upper areas of Porto but very doable. I would definitely stay at this property again.

We had a wonderful time. We brought my 90-year-old mother. It was an assessable for her because the studio was right next to the elevator. Really neat location. You are close to shopping and the basic attractions. Overall, very wonderful experience. If I really want to be picky, figuring out the lights was a little bit confusing. But that shouldn’t take away from the entire experience. It was wonderful.
