The perfect place to stay in Porto
This place was even better than it looks in the pictures. From the second I booked I was welcomed. When I arrived the staff were kind and helpful. I was escorted to my room. The room was fabulous. The shower was hot and full and the best I’ve had in Europe. The room was a mini apartment with a separate well appointed kitchen. It was quiet and the bed was comfortable and luxurious. The location was excellent - across from the market. Do yourself a favour and book this place for your stay in Porto. My only regret is that I had a flight booked, so couldn’t stay longer.

We selected this hotel because of the elevator as there is mobility impared in the family to use stairs down. The elevator was under maintenance and we not informed but they were very acommodating and went above to make sure we were comfortable. We fell in love with the room and the location . It had everything we needed and everything is closed by. We walked everything and the Bento and Bohliao metro and bus. Stations are walking distance. We immediatelly booked our next vacation stay already.

Comfortable apartment with great amenities. We especially liked having a kitchen area and washing machine. The staff was incredibly helpful and responsive. We had an issue with the washer and they came to fix it right away. Would stay here again. Travelled as a family, with 2 senior parents. Location was amazing and close to many top sights.

Expedia sent me a picture of the rented apartment at second floor. (Please see on the left.) However, when I got there I was given an apartment at first floor, completely different than the one I booked. The apartment building is an old refurbished building. Great bathrooms, (2), and kitchen, but lights in both areas, not so great. Not enough outlets, shaky tables, heavy chairs that made awful noises when moved. No benches for luggages. The apartments need a lot more care outside the kitchen and bathrooms. I did not understand why my room was changed. My wife did not want to say much about that on the spot, because she was tired to move again...However, we had A/C, that helped a bit, and the people at the main desk were really excellent!

Nice Hotel near shopping and Porto monuments
We were greeted at 9:00 p.m. by Paul and John, they were simply amazing people. Very helpful. Paul. Even got in the car with me and we drove to the parking structure and he showed me the best way back to the hotel. We walked together and talked. They were able to help us out with many different things that they do not offer at that hotel such as a massage and spa at a different hotel. One thing that personally We didn't like was that our room surrounded the elevator shaft so the room was shaped rather weird and there wasn't a closet per se. There was a bar to hang your clothes on. I think that part of the room we just ended up throwing our suitcases there and hanging up jackets and what not. Aside from that it was a really nice architecture and the inside was 1940s ish.

I was amazed that we'd rented an apartment but the property was run as a hotel. We had front desk, services, help with tourism, housekeeping and so much more. Everyone was accommodating, polite, and helpful. I'd never stayed in a place quite like it, but I certainly would stay again. I didn't like the washer/dryer unit for laundry, but it did work, and I wasn't expecting it; so it was all great. One of my most enjoyable trips ever.

One of our favourite accommodations from our honeymoon! Staff were lovely and welcoming. Our spacious unit offered a kitchen, beautiful high ceilings and large windows which opened to a picturesque view. Room was clean and very comfortable. Great location in the city centre. An excellent place to stay in Porto!

Great area to be in! Right in the heart of Porto. Hotel staff communicated everything we need to know about the apartment check in and check out requirements. Helpful with letting us know where to go what to do in that area. We only stayed two nights, but would definitely have stayed a few more nights! Clean and accommodating would highly recommend this apartment to stay.

If you didn’t know Porto was hilly before you went- after visiting you would!! The Hotel was really good with the apartment well equipped and spacious. Staff very helpful. Everyone was so wonderful and helpful at the property. We could walk to the bridge, shopping, and several restaurants. We did not take an Uber while in town. The rooms were charming with an old world feel. The tall windows and doors, as well as the detail on the ceiling, were beautiful. However, the bathroom and kitchen were new, and the space was ample for two people. We will definitely book these accommodations again.

Brilliant communication. Outstanding location across the street from the Mercado do Balhão. Food and wine galore. Convenient to the Balhão Metro and São Bento rail station. Walkable to waterfront. The apartment was excellent - classically stylish. Quiet and comfortable. We will be back.
