Enjoyable stay in a fun quirky hotel with an interactive lobby area which is suitable for couples and families. Transport links close by to get right across the city of Prague. The local area also provided a selection of eateries and drinks. The staff were fantastic and always happy to help with any queries.

So close to public transport, the outside bar area was such a lovely addition and the staff were all great. Very cool quirky vibes with deco or everything that we really enjoyed!

This was a fabulous property! The staff, especially Katie on the front desk, were really friendly and helpful and the foyer, bar, outside space was great- really chilled. The location was great too as it wasn’t far at all into Prague 1 via a tram which was only a few minutes’ walk. The only minor grumble was that we couldn’t change to temperature of the air con. It worked and was wonderful after a hot day exploring Prague, though felt warmer at night. First world problems, though! We’d definitely stay there again.

First visit to prague for a couples visit, hotel was a 20min tram ride into center or 30min walk, nice and easy. Hotel was quirky with nice decor, breakfast and staff lovely. Rooms nice and bed comfy, with good shower. Would recommend and stay again.

The hotel's stylish and playful aesthetic was novel and interesting. The lobby had retro games machines, and pool, snooker, and football tables, and relaxed seating areas. The rooms were cosy, comfortable, and quiet, and the ambient lighting was perfect for peaceful moments alone or having late-night guests over. The minifridges were a neat little addition to the rooms for keeping refreshments from nearby stores such as Lidl. A bonus would've been a small espresso machine. The hotel's continental breakfast was varied and tasty and the late night cocktails were strong and tasty; just how they should be. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Prague. The hotel is incredibly good value for money and it's in a prime location for visiting the more central areas of Prague.

The best hotel experience I've had in years, and especially for the price I paid. Starting from the friendliest front desk crew to the retro-yet-modern aesthetic of the hotel, it definitely evokes a sense of relaxation, to a point that I would revisit Prague just to experience this all over again. Oh and I forgot that they've got the best free breakfast with top-notch selections. It was worth it for me, and I bet it will be for you too. Thank you Mama Shelter for enhancing my Prague experience!

The entire roads around the hotel are torn up and being worked on constantly. Lots of noise and some navigation to access the hotel. Breakfast excellent. Very Mama fun kitsch. Didn’t like the all in one soap-not shampoo. Very fun hotel with free pinball!!

Pros: excellent kitchen, quiet place despite ongoing construction, walkable to public transportation Cons: the room had little to no places to put our stuff. No real closets, no drawers, minimal shelving. To me, that's a lack of basic functionality of a hotel room. There were mosquitoes in the room quite consistently, not sure how they made it to the 4th floor, but we found and killed them daily (stayed there 8 nights). There is no gym at the hotel.
