Disappointed Overall
Our stay started with access code issues, which lead to contacting the management company. The call was answered quickly. The rep promptly came to the house when resolution was not possible over the phone. He switched out the main entrance batteries and set up our codes. He was courteous, efficient and resolved the issue.Parking was easy. The outside of the house was attractive and had fencing around the entire property. The unit was decorated nicely and had all the essentials. Sheldon Street traffic could be heard inside the unit.When first arriving, several things stood out to us...the kitchen had a big gap under the door which lead to leaves on the floor and drafty windows left leaves on the window stools. Later we noticed the empty/broken soap container and dirty electrical switches. Also, the garbage disposal didn't sound safe to use.The bed was comfortable, but sleep was nearly impossible with the horrible noise made by the heater equipment and fan located in the bedroom. Also, the bedside lamp switch was broken and had no bulb.The bathroom had nice bath towels and a roomy shower with plenty of hot water. Trash on the floor, smeared mirrors, dirty baseboard and drip stains on the door were also noticed. Leaving guests a stained wash cloth to use was very distasteful.Advertising 125 a night but having to pay 650 for less than 48 hours was excessive, but we were looking forward to our stay.
