Pearadise on West Lake | Waterfront w/ Pool and Dock

Newly renovated family-friendly 4 bedroom house on 2 acre property on West Lake with small pear orchard and heated pool (open May long weekend to September long weekend) centrally located between Wellington and Bloomfield. Waterfront with a dock, large lawn with a play structure, waterside pergola with large picnic table, large pool deck with dining and lounge seating and sweeping lake views throughout. The property is steps from the Wellington Farmer's Market (every Saturday from May to October) and regular events at the Eddie Hotel and Farm and a short walk to Wander Resort.

Please note that local bylaws allow a maximum of 10 guests at Pearadise on West Lake, comprising a maximum of 8 people over the age of 10 years old. As a result, groups of 10 people are only permitted to stay if at least 2 guests are under the age of 10.

The space
Pearadise on West Lake features two levels.
The main level has two bedrooms, full bathroom, half bathroom, large open living and dining space with high ceilings and lake views and well stocked kitchen. The lower level has two bedrooms, three piece bathroom, separate office, second large living space and walkout towards the lake.

The house is well suited to families, groups of couples or a girls' getaway weekend. The pool deck offers dining for six people, loungers for relaxing in the sun and covered seating. A shady lakeside pergola includes a twelve foot picnic table and the dock has 4 comfortable chairs and panoramic views. Swans, sunsets and starry nights abound. Work and play with 1gbps internet.

Please note the lake is quite shallow and the lake bottom is rather soft. While great for kayaking, we recommend swimming in the pool to cool off. Use of the fire pit is subject to pre-approval through an automated telephone service and all guests must abide by local noise by-laws.

Guest access
Guests have full access to the house, pool, fire pit, waterfront, dock, play structure and lake facing lawn over the fence from the driveway. A full time tenant lives in a separate dwelling on the West side of the property. Please do not use the lawn surrounding or park in front of the separate dwelling.

Two park passes for access to Sandbanks are provided for use during your stay. Booking is required up to 5 days in advance to access the park (free with the passes provided).

Other things to note
Enjoy the pool, lake, dock, kayaks, play structure and fire pit. Please note that the walkout doors in the dining room, living room and primary bedroom provide DIRECT access to the pool and the shoreline is NOT fenced so children MUST be supervised at all times outdoors and wear life jackets in and around the pool and lake.

By accepting this reservation you and your party understand that swimming and use of the pool, lake, dock, kayaks, play structure and fire pit are at your own risk and that special risks may be involved with swimming and the use of the pool, lake, dock, kayaks, play structure and fire pit.

You accept full responsibility for any bodily injury arising from swimming and the use of the pool, lake, dock, kayaks, play structure and fire pit, and hold owner harmless.

You understand there are potential dangers that swimming and use of the pool, lake, dock, kayaks, play structure and fire pit may present to children who are not carefully supervised, as well as the danger to any person through swimming and the use of the pool, lake, dock, kayaks, play structure and fire pit.

If a person has health risks, or if a person swims or uses the pool, lake, dock, kayaks, play structure and fire pit while intoxicated or using any kind of drugs or medication, or while pregnant.

You agree to be fully and solely responsible for any accidents you may incur.

You understand the risks discussed above and agree that you will assume all responsibility for yourself and for the consequences of those in your party.

You agree to waive any claim whatsoever against owner for accidents or claims arising from swimming and use of the pool, lake, dock, kayaks, play structure and fire pit.

All guests in your party acknowledge and agree that they have read and understand this waiver and they acknowledge that booking constitutes a binding and enforceable contract between guests and host.

Incredible stay!
Such a wonderful home. Clean, bright and beautiful decor. Beds are very comfortable and bedding high quality. Very welcoming and cozy to stay in. The property is stunning as well. Loved watching the swans in the water and the stars at night time are breathtaking. . Recommend this place anytime of year.
