We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel, the courtyard is lovely, our room was spacious. The continental breakfast was available, pancake machine was neat. Only negative, there was a smell on the staircase leading to the 2nd floor, we used the other staircase. Overall enjoyed our 3 night stay.

I booked for 2 nights they locked me out on second day had to have card reprogrammed. They didn't even apologize fir their error. My credit card was compromised between Expedia and the hotel. Had to cancel my credit card.

One of the beds were sunken in & The hotel had a really bad odor Due to the mixture of smoke, the cuisine next door and chlorine due to the pool The sauna has a dangerous hazard, there are rusted nails in the door handle

Great value, and friendly staff that solved issues that popped up. The staff was very accomodating. Location is very solid, with many buses close to the hotel. Many options for car share, and even local taxi, so transportation wasnt an issue. There are many fast food restaurants nearby, a dollarama for snacks and a saveonfoods for any groceries you would want. For the value, I have no complaints. However, there are some things I do wish were better. The TVs work well but are a bit dated. I wouldnt trust the pool either, not with all the kids going in there. But personally for me, the most disappointing aspect was the fitness facilities in which many of the equipment were broken or barely working. I hope the super 8 would divert funds away from the free breakfast and instead fix the tv and fitness areas. Some new treadmills and working fans would have been great. I do understand that most visitors dont use the gym (sadly), so that maybe why the gym is so bad.

Budget friendly nostalgic stay.
Okay stay, hotel is in need of updating and maintenance instead of just shutting down and covering things in need of repairs (hot tubs, warm pool), I enjoyed the previous version tropical oasis I stayed at when I was younger. Staff were friendly, price was good, will stay again but hope to get one of the updated rooms.
