Inexpensive stay, but disappointing.

Check-in was quick and the front desk attendant was friendly. The courtyard walk to our room was disappointing as the upkeep of the tropical atmosphere that I grew up enjoying when visiting as a kid has not been maintained, and instead of maintaining the numerous pools and hot tubs, they have just covered them over. The room was small and smelled heavily of air freshener, and the bed was pretty worn out, happy that the old carpet had been replaced with laminate. Pool and gym were shut at 9pm so was unable to enjoy either on our schedule. Tropical oasis in the North has been neglected for too long, very disappointing.

Dirty, musky smelling rooms. Horrible breakfast, pool areas disgraceful with wooden cover over what once were hot tubs. When asked at front desk they said tubs have been closed for years.

Hot tub has been broken down for 2 years. Restaurant, clay oven, would not let us use a menu to order food from our room. We would have returned the menu when we ordered supper.

The property has gone downhill since new owners. Room was not as requested, requested a bottom floor due to limited accessibility was given a second floor when we asked again it was changed to bottom floor but seemed inconvenient and on other side of property. Lots of unwanted guests roaming the location and was not sure vehicle would be safe. All vending machines have been removed from stairwells as before very convenient to one at the entrance. Room did not have any ice bucket no microwave( one on second floor hallway) was given only 2 towels for 3 people. The hot tub was no longer used w Hu ice was upsetting. If it had not already been a long day we would have gone elsewhere. The room was clean enough but will not stay again. Read the reviews they are not wrong.
