When we arrived, the gate to the car park was locked; we left the car on the road and walked to reception - which was deserted, and had no sign to indicate what to do. Fortunately, we had read previous comments and guessed that we had to go the the Hotel Alcyon in town - a good 15-minute walk.
Once we discovered our apartment, we were very agreeably surprised. It was more spacious than we had expected and was extremely well-equipped (the kitchen had a cooker, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine, all of which appeared to be brand new). There were two separate terraces overlooking the bay, one with a table and chairs for dining and the other with more comfortable seating for relaxing and enjoying the views.
It should be noted, however that apart from the room being serviced every day, the other services and facilities listed on the hotels.com website refer to the hotel, and not the Residence Hotelière.
All in all, we had a great time exploring Porto-Vecchio and surrounding area, and very much appreciated having this very comfortable base to return to each evening.
