Our main complaint about this hotel is the unprofessional service in relation to a tour we booked through them. We booked the tour to see the underground caves. We were in the lobby at 6:45 a.m. The driver drove like a mad man for about 1.5 hours through curvy roads. It was a miserable ride. We get there and the place is packed. Our group was #57 in line for a boat. Within about an hour of waiting on the dock many of the boats were coming back in because of rough seas, and the majority of the captains were refusing to go back out. At this point, we just wanted to go back to our hotel. The guide kept saying to wait, because we might get on a boat. If the captains are saying the sea is dangerous, I don't want to get on a boat! We spent the entire day sitting on a hot, uncomfortable dock and never got on a boat to do the tour. Then an ambulance pulls up and is putting an injured lady on a stretcher. We found out one of the boats capsized! The guide tells us at 1:30 there's no chance of getting on a boat, and we could eat lunch now. Many tourists were angry, not hungry, and just wanted to leave. We didn't eat and got back on the uncomfortable shuttle. We got to Blue Lagoon about 4:00 p.m. We were expecting a full refund. We got a partial refund, but still had to pay the driver and guide. We were furious! If they would have told us that morning that the seas were rough and we might not get on a boat, we wouldn't have wasted our only day in Puerto Princesa on a horrible "tour."
