Muchas felicidades al staff, ellos no tienen la culpa de este hotel que se cae a pedazos, hongo en los baños, comida mediocre por decir menos. Recibimos un servicio excelente. Estuvimos por 7 noches y al 2do dia ya no pudimos comer mas esta comida procesada. Ojalá cuiden ese aspecto tan importante.

The Negatives • Food Quality: Meals were often cold or undercooked, with limited breakfast options and overcrowding. • Dress Code: A pants-and-closed-toe-shoes policy was inconsistently enforced. We had to buy pants in town, only to see other guests dining in shorts. • AC Issues: Despite complaints, the air conditioning remained inadequate, leaving our room hot. • Beach Vendors: Vendors frequently crossed into guest-only areas, disrupting our relaxation by the pool and beach. • Reservations: Dinner reservations required early morning lines, and popular restaurants were rarely available. • Service: Staff were inattentive, complaints were dismissed, and check-in and check-out were chaotic. The Positives • Beautiful Views and Spacious Rooms: The scenery and accommodations were great. • Activities Staff: Alonzo and Maria were friendly and made activities fun. • Food Variety: There was a wide selection, even if the quality was inconsistent. Final Thoughts While the resort has potential, the poor service, inconsistent policies, and operational issues made our stay frustrating. We wouldn’t return unless improvements are made.

It started off fine enough. Check in was good and we enjoyed the buffet for dinner. The first full day was nice, the pool was nice and service was really good. There was, however; a very musty smell to the room. We ate at one of the specialty restaurants and the steak was in a very salty gravy. Italian night at the buffet could have been better too. I don't think there was tomato sauce on the spaghetti, it seemed to be grease from the meat. We lost power for 14 hours one on the 2nd full day. There was an uprising in the lobby. Many people had children and sitting in pitch darkness with no air conditioning wasn't optimal. I guess I just expected to be wowed and I wasn't. I probably will not return and that's too bad, because the location is in a wonderful spot right on the ocean. I even saw a whale from the snack restaurant on our 1st full day. There's an abundance of tomatoes, so I believe roasting some tomatoes and creating a sauce would be easy to do. I do want to say that the workers were very nice and were all working very hard. The hotel/resort could use some updates in the room. We did have mildew and mold in our bathroom and our maid contacted maintenance to spray bleach and kill it.

Not a Good Experience for Latino Tourists
I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. The experience was marred by discriminatory treatment, inconsistent enforcement of rules, and a general lack of respect. Upon arrival, I was subjected to unnecessary scrutiny and suspicion. While taking a walk to the beach, I was escorted back to the reception desk by security, despite other individuals making the same journey without issue. This incident, along with subsequent experiences, led me to believe that my ethnicity played a role in the way I was treated. Throughout my stay, I was repeatedly reprimanded for minor infractions, such as misplacing my key or wearing the wrong outfit to dinner. These rules were not applied consistently, as I witnessed staff making exceptions for other guests who appeared to be of a different ethnicity. The discriminatory treatment extended to my family as well. My son was denied entry to the dining area due to his shorts appearing wet, while other children were not subjected to the same scrutiny. My wife was told I would not be allowed to join our party at dinner, even though she was on time and I was outside taking an important call due to a death in the family. While I understand the need for rules and regulations, the way they were enforced was unfair, inconsistent, and discriminatory. I felt targeted and unwelcome throughout my stay.

Booked a last minute trip as staycation. Upgraded my room category upon arrival as the receptionist mentioned that premium tier was superior and we would have enhanced F&B and all room service included. ( 250 usd per night) First night we were not able to eat at one of the restaurants as all reservations were full, even though we were told otherwise upon check in. Buffet was closing by 10pm and the offering was sub-par. We decided on room service for the first night which serves cafeteria quality frozen food. Food was premade and delivered wrapped in plastic. We then ordered dessert but it never arrived. On day 2 we were sold a $400 tour for 4 hours which only lasted 2 hours and was also sub-par. All food that we ate was poor quality and definitely frozen ingredients and proteins. The 2nd night we ate at Kyoto, supposedly a Japanese signature restaurant. Restaurant was decorated like a pop-up / temporary dining room with inexpensive decor and a poor example of food from Japan. We almost thought we were on a hidden camera show. After eating at Kyoto, we opted for the buffet as we were still hungry. Overall a very poor example of a product that gives all-inclusive resorts a bad reputation. We spent 2000 dollars in total for 2 nights, did not eat anything healthy or fresh, and were confused as we did not see one manager the entire time we were there. No one answers the phone after 10pm when calling reception as our sheets were stained (with blood) and we wanted them replaced.

Nice property with spectacular views. Ample pool areas. Room service is very slow at times and is so the service at the snack bar for lunch. Translation issues as well, several times our food and drink orders were wrong. Still worth the price, may just need to adjust expectations!
