We had a wonderful stay at Costa Sur Resort in Puerto Vallarta. Pros: • Beautiful waterfront location with easy beach access. • Safe, with great activities, pools, and poolside bar service. • Friendly front desk and poolside staff. • Convenient bus stop right in front of the resort. Cons: • Limited walkable roads and no nearby shopping or dining options. • Room service was a bit slow, and there was a leaking water pipe under the sink. • No conditioner was provided throughout our stay, though shampoo and soap were. • Two bottles of water and coffee were provided on the first day; after that, they had to be purchased. • Bath and pool towels had an unpleasant odor, similar to feet, and could benefit from more thorough laundering with deodorizing agents. • The property is located near a main road, which can be somewhat noisy at night. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and we hope the resort addresses these minor issues in the future.

The property is under renovation, some suites have been updated many have not. Except for the 1st floor the balconies are tiny and do not hold a chair. Our room on the 1st floor had cockroaches. We were not able to use our balcony as maintenance was taking place on upper floors and debris was falling. There was a complete power outage scheduled for a day during our stay. We bought the breakfast package which was a waste of money as there was limited selection and the food was not good - eggs under cooked and meat was gray in color. We moved to another resort.

We've stayed there 4 times , counting this visit. Our maid did a wonderful job on our room. The pool was warm and clean. The cove is great because the waves are controlled by the huge boulders, and at low tide you can see fish swimming. But, wed asked for a room on a higher floor, but got one on the 5th. In past years they did something special for us for our anniversary, which is in February but I told them were unable to travel this coming February. They didn't do anything this visit.

Great hotel for people who want a quiet place and access to a peaceful beach in the facility’s area ! But if you like to go back and forth between your hotel and downtown like we did you easily lose double the price of a hotel room in the downtown !

Excelentes vacaciones
Fueron nuestras primeras vacaciones en familia y la verdad nos la pasamos increíble, el personal del hotel fue sumamente amable, la señorita de limpieza amable y servicial nos pregunta si necesitábamos algo, la alberca en excelentes condiciones y la vista era mejor que en las fotos. Fue una estancia corta pero sumamente agradable, espero poder realizar otro viaje con Costa Sur muy pronto.

Es muy viejo todo. Las almohadas terrible. El colchón más viejo y terrible que nada. Los pisos manchan de rojo todo. Mi ho ruido por la carretera. En general atienden mejor los meseros más a los extranjeros que a los mexicanos. Realmente no volvería.

Las habitaciones están adecuadamente equipadas, el personal es muy cálido, amable y atento, la alberca siempre limpia, la comida muy rica, puedes moverte a cualquier lugar de Vallarta simplemente saliendo del hotel y usando el transporte local, el personal al te da recomendaciones de visitas muy buenas
