Hidden fee if booked through foreign website

Booking through Hotels.com created an issue and I had to pay an additional $50dls to stay. Fortunately, the website refunded me the charge and some for the inconvenience. In addition, I mistakenly forgot to put the total guests staying with me (master suite holds up to 6ppl) and was charged an extra $15dls for each of my other 3 guests. There is no elevator in the building so I was lucky my room was in the first floor.

The location and people were really nice and the room was huge. It has a small fridge and an electric stove that came handy when we wanted to save on eating out. It's super basic though and only has the basic furniture (bed, one high table and 2 stools). There weren't really places to put things or to sit comfortably. There were also lots of gaps in all the doors so we had mosquitos

Check in by Guadalupe was efficient and she was very pleasant to deal with. The hotel is older but very clean. It was New Years Eve so there was a lot of street noise and parties. I was expecting this so came prepared with ear plugs.

Balcony door barely closes and does not lock. Unit door can easily pop open. The safe is a glued wooden box. Television needed resetting. Layout of unit 11 was crazy.

Excellent location. Safe. 24/7 front desk. Daily house keeping. Generally clean. Nice interior decor in common areas. Welcoming. Next to all amenities you can imagine. Spacious rooms with living room. Very nice to also have cups and a fridge. Hotel a bit dated. Fan broke (couldn’t fix it) but luckily had AC. Sink also clogged but they were able to fix that. What I really didn’t like was that they charged me to bring guests after 10pm. Room is based on double occupancy so it should be none of their business, and they were quite rude about that.

This Hotel is in a great location and I enjoyed my stay. The hot water was hot and the water pressure was great. The beds were firm and comfortable, even my 9 year old grandson loved the bed. When you walk out of the hotel it is close to a very busy buss stop, so that did make it extremely congested and dirty. I would stay again.

Noisy room!

The Hotel is in an older part of the City with a very active night life. We happened to be on the front of the Hotel where there are many bars and a busy bus route. It was very very noisy till the early morning hours, so we were then moved to a room in the back of the Hotel. Very quiet and much more pleasant!

Stay at the hacienda one block south with a pool and actually get some sleep. Your bed may as well be on the balcony it was so loud. Music blasting to nobody at 530 am felt extremely unnecessary

It doesn't matter what the hotel as such is....this is the busies and noisiest spot of Vallarta, period! We got no sleep for three days. I ignored someone's warning that for the noise this hotel is a No, No and I partly spoiled good chunk of my vacations!

Large room with patio and hammock. Super clean. great location for Zona Romántica Nightlife - safe area. Good A/C and WiFi. Friendly staff. Great price/value, but no frills, just a clean basic hotel room to sleep and shower.
