This is a time share prooerty. One third of property is shut down for renovation. My room was above the lobby and reception desk. Noisy until late. Business started again at six in the morning. Viewxwas of the front of the hotel property and reception. Dining is limited. Shusi, Italian, Mexican or Continental. Wings, a hamburger sports bar no longer exists. Not enough pool space for number of guests. Seating is constantly being saved despite signs to the contrary. Watched adults drinking in the pool and then rinsing out their glasses in the pool water Disgusting! The maid service takes dirty towels out of your room on a daily basis, but and only twice during my eight day stay did I have full towels. On my first day here, after taking my credit card for expenses, I was told I had no money for meals and incidentals on the books. I had to interrupt my meal and return to the front desk to straighten this out. At one time, i considered this resort the place to stay in Puerto Vallarta. My opinion has changed.

The good: Staff were great, grounds and pools were nice, beach was very nice. The rooms were clean on the surface, very dated but overall in good repair. The bad: After twelve hours of travelling we were greeted by the “concierge”: a high pressure time share salesman employed by the hotel. Two days into our stay we had to request a new room, as there was an overpowering mold smell in our room. Not visibly moldy but one wonders what is hiding behind the vents in the hvac system…it was giving us headaches and flu like symptoms which cleared up once we were out of the room for awhile. Staff were able to accommodate the switch and the new room was much better, just a faint smell by the door. The restaurants are very expensive. The hotel staff definitely cater to the all inclusive guests first and foremost. Vendors on the beach are non stop, literally every five minutes all day long. The hotel doesn’t seem to do anything to discourage them, and in fact we started to wonder if the hotel was getting a cut… Speaking of cuts: my husband cut his foot (if it hadn’t been on his very callused heel it would have needed stitches) on the very sharp metal on the legs of the patio furniture on our balcony. Accidents happen, but apparently the hotel does not have a first aid kit, as we couldn’t seem to get a band aid.

This time they took it granted the guest I guess it was too hot and air conditioning in rooms were fix on 22 and even that was not working it was on ventilation… and I was not able to change it to make it low or high and I called and no one cared they came and said it’s set . I said but it’s not even working .. they stand their shoulders and left . Pussed off two nights with hot . It was my favourite spot to live but not anymore I guess …

The hotel is beautiful of course! My kids loved the pool! I was disappointed that at arrival they already were trying to sell me a membership. I didn’t like that expedia stated i got a free massage but when i booked the massage they charged me $25 for utilizing the spa. Everything was pretty pricey at the restaurants available. And was charged for house keeping. I would have liked to know this in advance so i was prepared for my bill.

Check in was not great. Information was not shared regarding meal plan, found out about it from someone else. Only staying one night, three couples, one was upgraded. And got a room right away, we waited hours for our room. Lights went out, screen door didn’t work. Would not return.

The staff here are so friendly and so caring the rooms are always so clean. They are so helpful when you need help and they always greet you with a smile and make you feel like family True wonderful people.

Well everything is the room was broken or very old FIRST WORLD PROBLEMS LOL. Under the beds didn't look like it had ever been cleaned , mirror in bathroom hadn't been cleaned for a while , the fan In the room was disgusting. Water in shower didn't shut off properly. Tv changer only worked up channel. , air conditioner would make this really loud bang every hour. And the dust or whatever came out of the head board thing on the wall is the worst of it all. But the rest of the resort is pretty nice as long as you don't stay in your room ever . Food was average and drinks way way overpriced. . The people who work there were very nice. Carlos should get a raise he was very helpful .
