Just came back from the Bahia Principe Punta Cana. The entertainment was amazing every night new show& daily entertainment at the pools. So much fun!! My only complaint would have to be during check in the gentleman who was helping us was so worried about an up sale he completely forgot to tell us anything about the resort we were Lost for a bit but figured it out.

Amazing experience
Excellent! However, we did an upgrade for the ESMERALDA hotel from the same BAHIA PRINCIPE group. The Esmerald had better buffet, better drinks. Punta Cana has local alcoholic drink brands. Esmeralda has Jack Daniels, Chivas, Tanqueray, Beafeter, Bombay, Absolut Vodka, baileys and other famous and good brands for those that want some drinks. Also the buffet for lunch and for breakfast and for dinner in Esmeralda is with a higher variety. I would go back to punta cana, but if you can pay more for the esmeralda, I think it's better. I just missed some ice cream for my kids. They had it, but it was not that good. The gym is also very good.

The property was beautiful, pools were beautiful. Staff was rude. Front desk made us wait over an hour for a room after check in time, told us to wait a few mins and after an hour once we complained they were mad at US. One woman concierge was beyond rude told us to take a seat to make a dinner reservation and had her phone in her face texting the entire time, we sat there probably 5 mins while she txted and asked me to wait, after she said she could help us take a seat. ATMs were down at every hotel on the property yet staff is not shy to ask for tips, impossible with no ATM. Also the casino only takes American bills and the hotel only gives pesos, no ATM in the casino either.

Excellent customer services, in lobby at checking, at the tables were Carlos help with dinner reservations, the waiters and waitresses at restaurants, bars. Ex. Isabel, very kind person. Also the girl that was cleaning our room was very efficient and nice. Entertainment team did an excellent job. All of them are very good on their job. Orlando was excellent, we have a lot of fun in the lights party. We have complaint because a lots of mosquitoes in all areas even inside rooms. Rooms needs an upgrade. Lobby needs fans, and more illumination. There had variaty of food and great taste. But, at Grill restaurant and Brazilian restaurant overcooked the meats. Overall was great! Thanks for nice stay!

The customer service here is great! All the staff want to help solve your issues however there were too many issues to have to deal with on vacation. Most importantly the rooms are not clean I had 8 rooms for family and friends all the rooms had issues from unclean sheets to damaged and unlockable doors. The mosquitos in the room were unbearable the AC was on low fan the whole time the toilets and showers were dirty. I am easy going so I tried to overlook the room as I would only be sleeping in there but the food was always cold stale tasteless and old. Hard to overlook the buffet food being bad

I booked what was listed as a 2 bedroom but their version of a 2 bedroom is a 1 bedroom suite. Got locked out of my room 2 times in one day! I had to travel back and forth to lobby while my 1 year old was crying. The food was ok drinks were overall pretty bad. Not that I was there for tv but with children while showering and such would be nice to have working tv. AC in the living room didn’t work in the “updated room” the mini fridge was hotter than the tropical climate itself

The majority of the time staff was attentive to our needs. Food could have been better quality and freshness at the buffet. Many times some food was old. Cleanliness needs improvement as well. Overall it was a good stay.

We had great time staying in Bahia Principe Punta Cana. We love the food, the location is perfect, my son likes the entertainment. However they need to improve their internet connection, fix the air conditioner and make their rooms updated.
