Very nice and comfortable property. Some hiccups but nothing that would damage the overall experience. The highlight for me was the staff. Very friendly, very attentive, respectful and helpful. Francisca, a server at the Food Market was fantastic!

The food was not the best. Same dishes every day. Also, on the weekend they had promo for the locals, it was over crowded. Almost impossible to find a table, a plate and food. We wont come back.

Enjoyed our stay, but definitely a mixed bag:
Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel itself is beautiful and has a lot of enjoyable activities for couples and families. Instead of writing an extensive review, I’ll list our pros and cons below: PROS: - beautiful property - well-maintained and clean - creative and fun activities for couples and families - beautiful Bávaro Beach within mere footsteps of the pools and bars - food was OK - beautiful nature and wildlife that roam the grounds for nature lovers CONS: - rude service from restaurant and food workers in the various shops (oftentimes only seemed friendly when tipped) - endless and aggressive harassment from vendors both on the hotel premises and on the beaches - difficult process for booking the restaurants; they were almost always entirely booked and several were completely closed during our stay - food could have been better - no clear labeling for what is considered an “exclusive” amenity - the property is very large and requires a shuttle to get around if you’re not keen on walking Overall: we enjoyed our stay but I wouldn’t come back to this resort.

Wi-Fi was not working, I called 7 times. No one came to fix the issue. The bed sheet was dirty and had a bad odor. Pillow was not cleaned. Bed had bed bugs, I got bitten on my feet.

I loved the resort, but could improve a bit.
From arrival the experience in Caribe Deluxe Princess was impressive. The grounds of the property are well maintained and have plenty to do. Staff we're very friendly throughout the stay. The pools are awesome and the beach is great. My inconvenience were that even if I had a reservation for the Brazilian restaurant, the staff had me wait for 30 minutes, and even then I couldn't be seated because they were full. I had to leave the restaurant and find somewhere else to eat as my blood sugar was running dangerously low. I also did not like that when ordering transportation, like UBER, I could not be picked up or dropped off in the main lobby. Front security was pretty rude and ensure I understood that he was going to make me walk from front gate to the hotel at 3am. Even if the area is safe, being defensive with the guest is something I did not understand. There should be 2 guards at night to ensure guest could be dropped in the lobby without having unwanted people to walk in to the hotel. The food in El Pilón was not good. The food in the Asian and Mexican restaurants was good. The buffet makes good breakfasts and pastas. There are artisan salesmen on some days. They we're very pushy to sell their products and this made me uncomfortable. They would not take no for an answer. Tours sold on the properties are not always what the staff sells. I went on a catamaran tour and the waves we're too i te se to enjoy, but the sales man told me it was a perfect day before booking.

I have stayed here multiple times, I am always pleased with the property, the super grounds, the nature walk. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and grounds very well kept. Maybe a bit outdated, maybe food not first class but still a real good value for the money.

Everything about the property is perfect, the only thing we have to say is that we tried to book several times at the restaurants and it was very complicated, the app was giving us problems, and when we could, we could only do it at very late hours. The other thing is that the quality of the restaurants is very bad, the only good restaurant was Tao, the food was very good, all the others were better to eat at the buffet.

We liked the restaurants options, we ate at the Brazilian, Japanese and the Dominican and they all were excellent. our real sincere thanks goes to Jose at the Snack Bar, Jhoan at the swimming pool bar and Wilkin and Winton at the lobby bar, they went out of their way to take care us. I'm a disable person and as soon as I mentioned to the front desk they gave me a room on the 1st floor to accommodated me and my wife. The room was comfortable and beautiful, however the toilet space was very, but I mean very small I was not able to sat on it, the other thing we didn't liked was that at the swimming pools there was not stairs to go in or out the swimming pools, overall experience was very good and almost excellent.

Pros: amazing cuisine, different daily options at the buffet, chefs deserve a raise! Overall., the appearance of the resort is good, the renovations are noticeable and general upkeep of the landscaping is great. It is an ecological resort so there is a lot of natural habitat onsite and the animals are beautiful to see. Cons: housekeeping staff is terrible, they do not care about the upkeep of the rooms. There was mold on the couches due to the humidity. The pillows smelled musty and when asked to change them, the housekeeper never returned with new pillows and gave us attitude. Things were missing in our room when we checked in and had to complain to management to replace them. Very disappointing. Some of the staff at the buffet are rude and truly just there for the paycheck, they don’t care about providing good customer service or making the tourists feel at home.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had at an all inclusive. I’ve visited dozens of all inclusives in DR and this is the absolute worst. The food options were very limited, and the quality was poor. I suffered from food poisoning on my second to last day here. The drinks were watered down and very inconsistent in taste. Sometimes you’d get lucky and get a nice drink. The rooms were also very dirty and it often took housekeeping a long time to clean the rooms during the day. The layout of the bathroom was also very strange and didn’t allow for any privacy. I have nothing nice to say about this resort. It’s awful.
