I visited the resort twice and the quality of the food seemed to have changed. The buffet food was good, but the food at other restaurants was terrible. Especially the food at Asiana was not good. The hotel staff were still friendly, but the quality of the nightly shows was much lower than when I visited in 2018.

Dining at Punta Vista was excellent (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). Mateo frequently was our server, and his friendliness and attention to details was exceptional. The spa was a highlight. Hilda was our valet for the water ritual, and Alejandro was my massage therapist. Both were excellently attentive, considerate, and skilled. Overall, the food and drinks were wonderful. The beach was kept immaculately clean and tide by the staff. The room was quiet and comfortable. Everyone was genuinely helpful and accommodating. As expected, there was an "invitation" to an "information session" following check in with incentives (approx. $200 of resort credit). Two solid "no thanks" ended the ask, which was generally low pressure. The hot tub needed some maintenance, some floor tiles need replaced, and the electrical system needs upgrade. Generally, the property is in good shape, especially considering it will get a major renovation in spring/summer of 2025. We look forward to another stay at this beautiful location in the future.

The staff is wonderful. polite, accomodating to your needs at all times. This is the best part of the property. The worst is the overall quality of the food, mediocre. And how come NO Italian food options??? That was disappointing
