The room in the Stracta hotel was very small. It was also super busy. Outside of 1 waitress who was super nice, everyone else felt like they were cold and didn't want to be bothered.

The apartment 20 we stay at looked nothing like the pictures. The hot tub was luke warm and smelled like chlorine as best. Amenities offered in the shared is one push refill for shampoo and body wash. For a 4 star space, it’s lacking is basic offerings. Apartment was ready and clean when we arrived. Luckily we came by car so we were able to park in front of our room but walking to the main dining required an outside trek to the breakfast area.

The property served as a conveniently located hotel to serve as a base to explore the southwestern Iceland area. The breakfast was hearty and was a great way to start a day of activities. The only downside was that the sauna needed some repairs on the benches and the hot tubs weren't hot.

The hotel is just off the Ring Road which made it convenient as a stopping point. The included breakfast was lovely in that it had both hot and cold options with alot of fruits. Most of the hotels that I had rented in Iceland only had the cold option. The included walkway to view the northern lights was nice and toasty but the hallway lights stayed on all night so you would have to actually step outside to view the northern lights then duck back inside for warmth. Will definitely recommend coming back to stay in this hotel if I ever come back to Iceland

This was a great nights stay. The property offers free parking, free breakfast and has hot tubs and saunas. The way the hot tubs are designed are perfect on those clear nights for when the northern lights are out. The room was a little smaller, but it was perfect for a night or two. The staff were very friendly! The food was good and the room was clean.

One of the best places we’ve stayed at here in Iceland. Large room, clean, small kitchenette. Breakfast included. Dining room. Highly recommend. Close to the Lava Center.
