A beautiful resort, with wonderful service from the staff, and the villas are exceptional - you can lose yourself in them forever! I'll be back here. The differentiator, in my view, is the amazing service.

I was a relaxing place and all the things even food can order for room service so we not need rush for the time special for breakfast. And the private pool was so amazing. We love this villa so much.

Very clean property!!! The food was excellent. It was nice and quiet and our butler Jay went above and beyond. This is the only Villa I will stay in when I return.

Spent 5 wonderful nights in a 1 bedroom DoublePool Villa and we were simply WOWed! Where to start, our very gracious hosts, Bin (and Yaya on her days off), really made us feel welcomed and at home and nothing was too much trouble. The room has so many great amenities and unexpected treats like ice cream and cones, well stocked toiletries bags, different nightly turn down treats, 2 coffee machines, the list goes on. One very special extra is the sign at the front of our villa, displaying our name, never had that anywhere before. The pool is huge, the outlook so serene, can't help but relax. Ate 4 nights in 2 restaurants that were open, fabulous food and amazing service. Special thank you to Bee, who looked after us so well and organised a local dining experience for us, complete with complimentary pickup/drop off. The breakfast buffet is exceptional. So much variety, such good food, kept us going until dinner time! Everyone we have encountered in this resort is so full of smiles and so helpful, made us feel very special. Hope to return one day, with our daughter!

Nice property and ever trying staff to please. Room for improvement - language (English) and better training focusing on guest services. This is in a good way as the staff is ever trying to do their best but at times is experience / training. Example - etiquette for fine dining, meaning of surprise dinner/ cake minor stuff.. as whole lovely place.

Best luxury stay in Phuket
We traveled as a big group of 14 people to Phuket and am glad we decided to stay at the DoublePool The entire experience right from check-in to checkout was out of the world We had 3 villas (one of them their biggest a 3 room Villa) The Villas are big, beautiful and gorgeous. The infinity pool is just awesome. Kids really enjoyed their time there. Seperate Media room was a great idea we spent a lot of time there. The master bedroom surrounded by a water body was right out of a James bond movie , we later found James bond Pierce brosnen did say in the same villa :-) The villa also had a seperate dining area where we had few lunches and on the last day they even organised a barbeque which was super tasty. The staff is very kind curtuous and each villa is assigned a Host who in our case did everything possible to make our stay happy and comfortable Our hosts Jay , Joy, Sonya & Tony at the reception need special mention. We are for sure coming back and highly recommend this place to one and all

Banyan Tree - Double Pool Villa
The Double Pool Villa was Amazingly spaces. Main pool was long and wide enough to have a good swim. it also had a Juzcuzzi for relaxing. The room we stayed in had a good view over looking the golf course. All the double pool villas was detached and very private and had your own name associated with the Villa that you was staying. We booked an in-villa BBQ. The food was tasty with great service. You had you own chef and a waiter to serve you. Bayan also provide bikes so that you can ride around the resort. Overall it was a great relaxing place to stay.

Fantastic view and a generously large villa.
The villa is very large and open and very much full of light. You can push the huge glass doors in the living room completely to the side so the whole living room experience can become an outdoor experience. Very nice if you are lucky as I was and have good weather. Bedroom and bathroom are also very large and very well done. The view is over a lake large enough to give complete privacy. I had a freshly flown in Dover sole al meunière which was excellent. No complains, a very relaxing environment and excellent service from my Villa host AU. Thank you.

Absolutely wonderful! Villa was perfect, swimming pool was lovely and private. Patty, our villa hostess was a delight, always available if we needed anything. Highly recommended.

Awesome
Awesome, spacious villa with huge private grounds containing a pool, jacuzzi, a sala and a terrace with table/chairs/parasol and 2 large sunbathing beds on each side of the pool. Bedroom "floating" on the second pool, large bathroom and living room with TV/DVD on the other side of the villa. Simply awesome. Butler service (called villa host) is very personalized and very different than what I have experienced at other hotels with this kind of service. Our host, Khun Au, just made our stay much more enjoyable and brought a soul to the hotel. There are 3 sections in the hotel. The double pool villas (the most exclusive part of the hotel) are 5 minutes bike ride from the main lobby. The hotel pool is very large and has swim up bar. The spa is nice but less impressive than what we were expecting. The restaurants are great and the breakfast simply awesome. Finally the beach, also a 5min bike ride is great, beach service is very good just missing a hotel bar, but there are other bars/restaurants nearby. And when we got bored of the 3 restaurants of the hotel, we took the free shuttle to the other properties in the Laguna resort the hotel belongs to to try their restaurant and could still do room charge. Basically, my wallet was in the safe from day 1 until we left almost. We ventured twice outside the Laguna resort, once to try the Dedos restaurant in the little village adjacent to the resort and another time to visit Phuket town, 30 min away.

Banyan tree in Phuket is slipping
This is my second time to stay in a double pool Vila by Banyantree. The first time was amazing, however this time around was not at all for the following reasons: 1-If the hotel is shutting down main facilities,as main lobby, restaurants and theme events that goes without, it should shut down period.Having guests to stay with them under these circumstances is not Faid got guests who planned and came from great distances for the experience . 2-The bed mattress is rundown,sheets were ragged and torn, you would not expect this even from a 2 star facility. The bed itself with its big wooden ledge is not comfortable at all. 3-Pest control had difficulty controlling wasps taking over the Vila entrance, in two occasions we were locked in the bedroom rather than staying out. 4-Frequent visits inside the room from Water Monitor lizard was not particularly pleasant either.

Wonderful stay at the Doublepool Villas
Stayed at the Doublepool Villas in early December for a week of rest and chill out. Having read all the trip advisor reviews, we had high expectations - am pleased to say we were not disappointed in anyway. Villas are HUGE! Exquisitely appointed, and an absolute delight to stay in. A special mention must go to the French Vietnamese restaurant, Tre. We went on the last night of our trip - wish we'd gone earlier. Wonderful food and atmosphere. Guests need to be aware that the villas are not really walking distance from reception and bars/restaurants - not a problem because a golf buggy is provided whenever you need a lift, and bikes are available for use throughout your stay (if you can cope with cycling in the heat!). Would return without any hesitation - just need to start saving.

The whole Banyan Tree resort is beautiful - however the Double Pool Villas are their top end dwellings and they do not disappoint. The Villa is incredible, the pool at the back is the largest private pool I have had, and the rest of the villa doesn't disappoint either. Would definitely recommend this hotel - perfect for a romantic getaway or a honeymoon.

Amazing private slice of paradise
The double pool villa was absolutely amazing. It was very private, luxurious, and breath taking. It's by far the best "hotel" I've ever stayed at. The only minor complaint is that it might be *too* private, so you feel a bit isolated. However, I'd encourage you to skip the room service and instead check out either the beach restaurants or some of the restaurants in town that provide free roundtrip transportation (Siam Supper club was our favorite).

Spacious villa
The villa is very spacious and the facilities are well maintained. Only improvement may be to clean the kitchen outside the entrance as obviously the trash after cleaning up the villa was dumped there although temporarily, it gives quite unpleasant smell when we walked through the entrance.

The best experience!!
I've been to many hotels and resorts around the world, and Double Pool Villas by Banyan Tree was the best pool villa I've been to!! Everything was just perfect and I and my husband had the best vacation. Also there's a personal assistant who gives you a cell phone and he comes right away when you call. I know it is a bit pricy, but it definitely worth it!!
