The stay was somewhat bizarre as the hotel had no elevator and simultaneously run down/antique and ultra-modern aesthetics. The room was oddly shaped and the lake outside hosted singing animals all night. People were out in the parking lot at about 6am partying. We might’ve cared more but we were only there to crash before an early flight; the motel 6 we stayed at a few nights prior was better

The main positives about Lakeside Inn was that the bed was comfortable and it was quiet for most of our week stay. However, breakfast leaves a lot to be desired and it really needs a refresh. There’s no housekeeping, you have to ask the desk person to get you ice, blackout curtains not the best.

Worst Hotel Avoid

Absolutely the Worst Hotel Experience – Avoid at All Costs I stayed here recently for what was supposed to be a special anniversary trip, and it turned out to be the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The room was in unacceptable condition from the moment we walked in. The refrigerator was moldy and had old food still in it, and the carpet was wet in spots. The bed was horribly uncomfortable—you could feel the springs in your back all night. We never once received housekeeping or fresh towels during our entire stay. The ice machine was broken, and there was no elevator or staff assistance, so we had to carry all our luggage up the stairs ourselves. The shower had cracked tiles and mold, and to top it off, there was a hole punched in one of the room doors, which made the place feel unsafe and poorly maintained. We also had a connecting door to the room next to us, and it kept being opened from the other side, which was incredibly disturbing and felt like a major security issue. This was supposed to be a relaxing celebration, but instead, we were uncomfortable, disappointed, and stressed the entire time. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I sincerely hope they take these issues seriously and make improvements. Until then, avoid this place.

The Inn was nice. We stayed for 2 nights. The room was clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. The one thing I didn't understand was, housekeeping didn't come and straighten up during the time we were there. However, due to having to use a cane, they moved me to the first floor and made sure that my family was right next to me. I was very grateful, and because of this, I gladly give them 5 stars.

The property was clean however it felt in need of a rejuvenation. The room had an abudance of furniture that made it difficult to move around in. The bathroom was also cramped with a too large vanity and a toilet that was practically in room center. Beds were lacking in comfort and support with one that had difinite sag on one side where you can tell people have sat at length. Not enough towels were provided at start of stay and guest would have to go to housekeeping for new ones. The door handle on the outside was in need of repair. Door did lock and was secure but handle was not fully functioning.
