Good price and good stay

The hotel was very conveniently situated and parking was great. The room was clean and well equipped with fridge and microwave. Large breakfast room overlooking the lake. Only minus were the multiple stains on the carpet in my room.

The room was smells. Had to ask the front desk for air spray on the 1st day. Requested to change the bedding on the 2nd day. But the staffs were friendly and helpful.

They are doing some renovating and I think this will be a great place. Helpful staff, nice bar and restaurant. If they could post a bus or train schedule in the lobby they would have a great thing going.

Rooms very clean, but not well equipped

Good: rooms very clean, good shower water pressure, comfortable bed, small refrigerator worked fine, great view of the lake from the dining room. Not great: Most lights in the room not plugged in, several outlets didn't work, room cramped (barely room for a desk chair, no others), bathroom cramped, stairs (no elevator) to second floor, parking area not well graded (raining when we got there and had to walk through enormous puddles, getting drenched, to get to the front door), felt generally run-down Pretty bad: not a single towel rack in bathroom, teensie soap losenges, the free breakfast truly abysmal (but nice view!), ice machine not working, heat/cooling from unit under window but little control: heat setting throws heat but doesn't stop (the temp setting meaningless), can get comfortable then set to fan only, but then quickly gets cool.

Property is on beautiful lake. Everyone working there was very nice. Has a cool bar with live music on first floor. Building is a bit outdated but was pleasantly surprised on view of lake and nightlife which I wasn’t expecting so made up for the buildings age. Breakfast was good also and was included, can’t beat that! Not very crowded. Place is honestly a hidden gem for location and has not great reviews online but not sure why. I would stay here again.

Out of control partiers from ruined experience.

Hotel was fine as usual, however there was some kind of party or something going on with very loud music, etc. coming from the rooms across the hall and teenagers running up and down the halls all night knocking on people's doors, got very little sleep.
