Might be the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. The hotel did not service my room any of the days I was there. There was mildew all over the bathtub. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. On my first night there, the neighbors were loud, so I put my headphones on to get some sleep. Near midnight, the front desk rang my room’s phone, waking me up, to ask me if the noise of my neighbors was bothering me. During checkout, the employees were having a conversation with each other and barely acknowledged me - just asked my room number and said I was all set. Definitely got what I paid for since the cost was low. One perk - the hotel bar had live music a couple nights during my stay, and that was nice.

Property was on very pretty grounds, hotel itself was ok. Mostly worth the money because of how close it was to places but how secluded it was also. Housekeeping didn't offer more toilet paper, towels, and nothing was ever said about what to do with our trash so we took it down ourselves all week. Restaurant was also great, most amazing bartender ever.

The rooms were incredibly small, just barely enough room to walk. They are very outdated, the rug had stains all over it, there was very limited outlets for use to charge devices - I actually ended up buying a powerstrip, you get 2 bath towels for a 4 person room, 1 pillow per person, no DND tag to notify housekeeping you don't want services, the restaurant on the first floor had loud music that could be heard on the second floor - this didn’t affect our room as we were far enough down the hall so just an observation, the walls are very thin and you can hear everything as you walk down a hall and in your room, handicap parking is available - although on each day someone was parked in the spot for van accessibility- one person parked inches from my vehicle that I had to climb in thru my passenger door- when I informed the hotel staff he just brushed it off like it was no big deal and said it was too early to call the guest and refused to call the police to have the person ticketed for parking in a no parking zone. Traffic is HORRENDOUS in the area - be prepared to add 1.5-2 hrs to your travel time into the area if using the I-95, and leave extra time to get to your activities- anywhere from 25 - 90 minutes extra.

The staff were very friendly and polite. The bar was doing some event every night which was fun! The food at the bar was good, the bartender was very attentive. The complimentary breakfast was very good other than the 1 day the sausages were burnt to a crisp and the fruit was very bruised. We stayed 6 days and they never freshened up our room, I even asked the front desk and he just thought I meant towels so he said sure whenever just ask for them. 2 other guests found food left in their fridges from previous guests.

I loved our view of the lake! We enjoyed the cooler temps (we are from AZ) and the ease of using the thermostat. We were a little bummed that some areas were not accessible, even as guests (the cute gazebo out back, etc). It was a cute place to stay.

The room which we booked was mentioned as non smoking room but when we entered the room it was smelling of smoke everywhere, even in the bathroom. The dust bin was not clear it had smoke ash in it. The bedsheet had a hole by cigarette burn. When communicated this at the reception nobody helped us neither the room was cleaned. We couldnt sleep all night because of the disgusting smell. Horrible experience !!
