Overall ...very good

Great Location . Comfortable & Clean, strictly non-smoking rooms with A/C .Hard working staff . Decent breakfast ( included ) lots to do within walking distance . Free parking that was right there .. practically at the beach !! The pool was down for maintenance. The wash machine was out of service ..but there is a great laundry mat very close by if needed ..but the hotel also has laundry service bags in the room,.also with and iron & ironing board . Free coffee and hot chocolate , tea available to the guests in the lobby . Free dog biscuits at reception . But no cookies there for me sadly 😂

The receptionist never even said hello jsut asked you checking in? Seemed very unhappy and forced to be There. Inquired why pet fee was so high compared to other hotels he just shrugged his shoulders and said hotel policy bathroom and the main floor area by the pool was very dirty. The pool is constantly closed for maintenance. The room is very outdated with very old carpet and the breakfast is not up to par for a plus hotel have been to different best. Western pluses the breakfast. Here was very terrible.

At that time were there Monday at night swimming fool have party the couple white n black with 2 kids .. think they family party with lots kids stuffs radio loud n they having drinks.. annoying my kids can focus swimming n can’t use hot tubs.. anyway nice inside room..

PET FRIENDLY ONLY IF THEY HAVE SUFFICIENT ROOMS. We were not able to check in despite checking off the “pet friendly” box on Expedia’s website. Front desk advised that our problem was with Expedia and he couldn’t do anything about it. Why do Hotels hate Expedia? Because Expedia gives the best rate to everyone. We were told that if we had booked directly then he had options to help us out. Even after chatting with the manager/owner, they could not accommodate a hyper allergenic, 11 lb, crate trained, poodle. No effort to help us find similar accommodation at local hotels or even hook us up with a pet sitter for overnight. Definitely a lack of service experience for us. Next time I’ll check in first and then deal with the consequences. Yes, we booked last minute and were only told to talk to the desk staff. We wrongly assumed we could do that at check in.

Decent Place to Stay on the Lake

Check-in was fast. Staff friendly. We had a large, clean room with 2 queen sized beds. We found it odd that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room. While they offer coffee in the lobby, it is quite inconvenient to take the elevator from the 3rd floor, get the coffee and then go back to your room. A coffeemaker in the room would be much better. In addition, there were no USB ports, or places to plug devices in on the bedside tables. In addition, we would have appreciated one additional bedside table. The shower was rarely warm in the morning, which was disappointing. We didn't try the breakfast. Overall, a decent place, but nothing special.
