Love the Nittany Lion Inn. Excellent facility and also charming and unique with Penn State decor. All for a price that competes with other hotels in the area.

I stayed in a single-bed room and it was great for what I needed. The room was clean that staff was very friendly. If there is any "negative", and I use that term very loosely, it's that the continental breakfast did not have any already made eggs or breakfast meat, like sausage or bacon. There are plenty of other items like waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, and pre-packaged egg sandwiches that you could warm up in the microwave. Not a big deal, just something noticeable. Considering how much I paid, the stay was excellent, and I would stay there again.

Basic but better option than Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn. The building is in great condition. The room was comfortable and clean. Good breakfast offerings. Very friendly staff.

Very clean, spacious, great location and pet friendly!

Great location if want to stick with a chain hotel, but still want that country feel. Had a nice view of the mountain ridges to the east and the mountain gap. Room was very clean and spacious. Would stay here more often for hiking in the nearby state forests but the rates are usually much higher due to nearby PSU
