Fantastic house, had everything we needed, clean and cosy. Great location very close to southwold.

Excellent location, cosy and lovely property. Everything we wanted was there, attention to detail was above and beyond. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Thimble Cottage is sweet and nicely decorated but was a bit too small for 4 not large adults in our opinion. Easy location to explore delightful Southwold from. It was however rather noisy (bus stop and lovely pop up bakery queues outside main bedroom window from early in the morning, dog grooming parlour immediately behind the tiny courtyard, public bins being emptied at 5:30am in the High St). We were also greeted with an overflowing bin of rubbish in the courtyard from previous guests which we sorted with help from the lovely neighbour . No mattress protectors and stained mattresses. No wine glasses or even any matching glasses.

Great location! We didn't need to use our car ones. 😀

I was disappointed that there was no communal dining area. I had two friends, who were staying at the same time. It would have been nice, to have our breakfast together. Regards, Mike Body
