lo vely spacious rooom - v.v.quiet - clean bathrooms and plenfy of towels. The hotel food was fabulous and we were disappointed that we got up too late to enjoy the breakfast. Very peaceful stay - will be back

The staff was courteous and efficient. My room was spacious and clean. I also really enjoyed my dinner and the gracious waitress. I was sorry that I was unable to grab something to go for breakfast when I arrived 10 minutes before closing at 10:00, but I understand. As well, I learned the next morning that I had missed a display of the Northern Lights while there. It would have been wonderful if guests could have been informed.

very clean, when we booked, it noted airport shuttle, but shuttle was very limited, taxi is very expensive for 3.5 km drive 5000 ISK, bus exists, but only during day, and takes 1 hour with change etc, Hotel should step up and operate shuttle at least every other hour when flights are arriving and departing. We had reservation with Konvin Car Rental and thye helped us out with ride back and forth they are right next to Hotel, we worked with Carlos, 5 star service from Carlos at Konvin Car Rental

Front desk was very friendly and helped us check in very early for a fee to get some sleep after a red-eye flight with a toddler. Rooms clean and comfortable, great beds, though some of the furnishings were not super high quality like a towel rack that had been installed a little bit off so it kept coming apart. Breakfast wasn't a highlight. The food just wasn't so tasty and really quite expensive considering the offering, though the service was fine and the dining area very nice.

After we booked this property, we found out that the shuttle didn't run in the evening. We booked this property and rented a car through the hotel so we would have the convenience of a close hotel, but unfortunately had to pay for a taxi from the airport, which was about $50 USD. The beds were not pushed together at the hotel despite us requesting that, and we arrived too late at night to move them. The hotel was clean, but the additional cost removed any value added by staying at this discount hotel. The hotel bar was also very overpriced, even for Reykjavik. 2 well cocktails came to $60 USD. Staff were friendly, room was fine, there are just better options in the KEF area.
