Clean, friendly and helpful staff. Restaurant was small with limited choices but everything we tried was delicious. Plenty of options at the breakfast buffet. Love European breakfast compared to US hotel breakfasts! Close to airport. Easy to grab taxi to hotel and take the hotel shuttle when returning to Keflavik. Great views from hotel lobby and our room of the ocean and marina. Front desk has a cute little bar and fireplace in the cozy lobby seating area. Definitely recommend.

Great property to stay if you’re planning to stay near the airport. They offer a free shuttle to the airport which will save you around $40. But they don’t pick you up so you need to cab. It’s about $100 cab ride to Reykjavik from here. Super clean and nice rooms

It is a good property to stay in for departure from Iceland as it is very close to the airport. The room was clean, spacious and the bathroom was modern with good water pressure. I was not happy with the mattress on the bed as it was much too soft (opinions vary in that regard). I was a little mislead by the staff at the front counter telling me that they had pools and a hot tub when all they had was a very well heated heavily chlorinated small pool. Aside from the close location to the airport, we loved a local pub called Paddys. It was right down the street and was a fun hangout for locals. We wish that we did not have an early flight as the bar stays open until 4 am on the weekends and I am sure it gets super interesting later in the night :)

Such a lovely property for a quick stay before return trip home. It was extremely clean and well kept. The walls and floors are so thin I found it hard to sleep due to listening to neighbors upstairs. Perhaps a room on the second floor would be better. The hot tub (pool) is wonderful. Service was most excellent!

We stayed one night before catching final flight back to the US. I have stayed in Reykjavik and another airport hotel in the past and wanted to experience more of the Reykanes Pennisula. Hotel Berg is lovely and the area is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The hotel decor was very clean and crisp. The warm pool rooftop pool was wonderful. Our refrigerator did not work so the gave us free breakfast which was delicious. Otherwise it is $18 per person. We arrived late afternoon from Oslo, took a quick taxi ride from the airport (approximately $25). The hotel shuttle took us back to the airport the following morning free of charge. We walked into town and had a delicious early dinner at Anton's Mamma Mia restaurant. Then we walked around the waterfront. Be sure to visit the Giantess Cave. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Reykjavik area.
