This place has a great location and the employees were friendly. The space itself was a bit tight and I wish there were blackout curtains for this long summer days. It was also very loud ALL night so I would ask for an upper level unit.

Perfect place to stay! We had been traveling for over a month when we stumbled on Hotel Rey....it was our favorite place! Clean, safe, easy access, cute and charming! Walkable to all of Reykjavik vibrant area. Staff was great! Very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend and would stay there again as it is my top choice!

It was a very comfortable stay in a great location in the heart of Reykjavík. Everything was great except for the shower…be careful using the handheld shower as it is easy to flood the bathroom

I booked this property at the last minute on arrival in Iceland after midnight. I had a VRBO reserved, that is a whole other story. I called and spoke to Gunnar at the property, he was able to confirm a room available and get me checked in on arrival. The room was clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect able to walk to many Reykjavik sites, unlimited dink g and entertainment options, pubs, restaurants, music, shopping.

The apartments are in an excellent location. Perfect for sightseeing, dining, and shopping. Check in was easy and there was free parking. The apartment was a little in need of repairs, but overall quite nice.

The property is located in a nice place in downtown, but there are a lot of drunk or stupid people around the neighborhood who scream and shout constantly from midnight until dawn. This is not the property’s fault, but there should be some police presence to prevent this.

Nice apartments ideally located

The stay was nice overall although a few minor things might need some improvements. For example the main entrance door is difficult to operate. It is very cold near the windows in the kitchen and there are no coffee machine. Even for a kid, sleeping on the sofa bed is terrible to sleep in.

Great location

Comfortable and cosy apartment very centrally located but set in a quiet courtyard. Felt very safe and secure. Overall cleanliness was good but the tiles in the bathroom could have done with a scrub. I would also recommend a mat for the front door entrance to wipe slushy boots. Good value for money, would stay here again
