It's newish and we'll appointed. Friendly staff, lots of fuel/good options. A little confusing to access on very dark and empty street. Otherwise, just fine!

This is my second stay at the hotel this year. The entire staff is so friendly and welcoming. Great breakfast, comfortable room and beds, and nice amenities. Would definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at this hotel. It was overall so modern and clean. The staff was friendly and the hotel was pet friendly which was a huge plus. The only downside was that with fees and charges our 1 night stay ended up being more expensive than we initially expected it to be. However, we consider staying here again!

They complimented us with a first floor room with a kingsize single bed, handicapped, which was much more convenient for the wheelchair. So nice of them. They didn’t have to do that. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

Great Property but has billing issues.
The property itself was very nice and the service was good. The breakfast bar was exceptional . My only issue is with billing. The property charged $125 supposedly for incidentals but 3 weeks later had not refunded the deposit. I have made three calls and was told they could not see a charge, I filed a claim through my bank.

Bad Experience at This Hotel
There were lots of issues at The Tru in Ashland: The blackout shade was broken and did not cover the entire window. The hotel is next to a truck stop, so we could see the truck lights all night and could not sleep. The AC fan would not go off and the wall control was broken. The water pressure was extremely weak. There was no soap dispenser in the shower. The room was noisy - we could hear people in adjacent rooms. The linens were poor quality. The elevator was slow and dirty. The location of the hotel is terrible....next to an old motel and a large truck stop. It was a disappointing stay for an overnight road trip. We have stayed in a number of Tru hotels, but this one was of poor quality.
