We booked 3 nights via Expedia, arriving back at our room the third night, we found our room stripped of almost everything. We were told that we did not reserve the room for the third night. So they packed up our things, clean, dirty, sterile breathing machine into one suitcase and had it behind the counter. We were visiting family in the area and received NO phone calls or texts alerting us to the problem. After showing our on-line documentation from Expedia that we did indeed book for three nights we still had to reregister to get a place to sleep. On Monday 10/27
the Manager was not on duty when we checked out. I finally got him on the phone. He said he would check into why we were not notified of the problem and contact me.
Finally on Friday (4 days later!) I was able to get him on the phone and was told he was too busy to talk. It is now a full week and I have not heard anything from the manager and he is not picking up his calls.
I do not know if the reservation problem is Wingate or Expedia but having the manager ignore it is unprofessional. We had previous stays at this location, but since we no longer feel secure and safe there, it is highly unlikely we will return.
