All employees were nice, several went out of their way to help me grab a breakfast when I came down at 9:10 (ends 9:00). The main lobby, though, was freezing - imo it was unacceptably cold. It was unpleasant to hang out for drinks/food in the bar/restaurant. Everyone (guests/staff) had to bundle up. Parking for an urban area was not unusual, ignore some complaints, it was just a block away, but you pay $15 and no direct hotel access, so it wasn't ideal with packed snow on the ground. If you're older, have young kids, physical limitations, and/or a lot of luggage, etc., drop off as much as possible at the lobby before going to park.

The hotel shuttle was a great option to use. He dropped us off and picked us up right at the door to the venue of the concert. No sitting in traffic, trying to get a parking spot or walking in the cold

The hotel needs a renovation ASAP! Especially the bathrooms. There should never be carpet in a hotel if you ask me. Does this ever get cleaned? There was a red stain on the carpet near the beds in our room. The beds were clean and comfortable; and were recently replaced per the staff. The bathtub/shower was dirty and stained … rust I was told but who cares, replace it, especially when you know it’s a problem. The evening reception drinks/snacks were a nice perk. The openness of the lobby was nice but in January it was freezing, I suppose due to the door opening and closing. Overall, the hotel was decent but it needs an update and you should not have to pay $15 to park in a parking garage.

Just so-so, not very clean and needs maintenance
We had several issues during our stay. Mostly surrounding cleanliness and disrepair in our room. First, we booked a suite with two queen beds and a pull out sofa. We were put in a suite with two full beds and pull out sofa. The beds were too small for our kids to share, so we opted to put them on the pull out sofa. Upon pulling out the bed, we noticed a sizable stain, hair, and an empty soda bottle. Obviously this wasn’t touched by the cleaning staff. There were also several other places that obviously were not cleaned - coffee drips on cabinets, etc. There was only one remote for the two TVs. We were also provided with just a tiny bit of toilet paper and no back-up roll. We texted the front desk who had checked in earlier with us and they didn’t respond until the next day. The sink in the bathroom didn’t drain well, and would fill up with water when using it. There was rust and mold/mildew in the bathtub. Parking is also $15 a night, which wasn’t disclosed in the listing. There is only one bank of elevators and it was crowded when we stayed so we were waiting 5+ minutes every time we used it. There are no stairs to take you up to the 2nd floor, so we couldn’t even skip the elevator. Overall, we were okay in this room, but we were not impressed with our stay here. Cleanliness and elevator being the major downsides.

I stayed at this hotel and was extremely disappointed with the service. The staff were unhelpful and seemed uninterested in providing any assistance during my stay. To make matters worse, there was no bath soap provided in the room—something so basic that every hotel should have ready for its guests. Overall, it felt like the hotel didn’t care about offering even the minimum level of hospitality. I won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to others! **Update** No one brought us body soap that morning nor called to see if we still need some. Also, the breakfast was horrible. Pork was the only meat to choose from, no syrup available for pancakes and they had one person on the omelette station (with a line out the door). Location is the only reason the Embassy deserves 2 stars!!!

We were greeted with unexpected fees and charges. We had to pay $15 for parking even though parking was included in the hotels.com room listing. We were charged over $45 more than we were told at booking with fees. We arrived after dark & had to park in a parking ramp behind the hotel. It is not well lit & there is a dark alley between the ramp and the hotel. Everything is roped off with caution tape & it felt very unsafe with small children. Our window was easy to open and had no screen - also extremely unsafe. Breakfast was decent. There was no way to use the carts to carry luggage because of the parking situation. Pool area was dirty. Would not stay here again & will no longer be using hotels.com after this vacation.

One out of three elevators were broke and you can only go to upper floors in elevator. Stairs stop at floor 2. The open interior means the noise level reaches your room door so those that slept on the pullout couch were kept up by the loud music in lobby and/or meeting rooms. Desk staff were not very friendly; some staff at bar and breakfast acted annoyed. Location is frustrating surrounded by one way streets and long city blocks--but that's a planning problem. Parking is paid and uncovered, requiring a walk around the block. Not ideal to stay during winter.

I'm sorry to tell you, that this is the worst hotel stay we have had in a long time... especially for over $200. Our non-smoking room smelled like smoke and, worse, mold. The bathroom was moldy and horrendous. The bathroom faucets are loose and ready to fall off. The only good thing I can think of to say is the sheets and towels did appear clean. However, the bedroom lights flickered so we could not turn them all on. The elevator situation, not working when we arrived, should have been a clue. And, the ice machine on our floor did not work. Overall I expected much more from a Hilton property. We are extremely disappointed.
