This hotel has an excellent location right in the middle of Old Town, super walkable everywhere, easy to find restaurants and shopping. Breakfast in an adjacent bar/restaurant is convenient and the buffet has plenty of options. Would definitely stay in the same location again. Cozy, clean rooms, friendly staff.

I couldn’t have picked a better hotel for walkability – the location was perfect! The spacious rooms offered plenty of room to relax, and the breakfast spread was excellent with lots of variety. Everything was clean and well-maintained, but the shower was the only downfall. Even as a small person, I found it a bit cramped. There was also a bit of mold in the shower due to limited ventilation, so a deep clean is my only recommendation. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Riga. I’d also like to add that as a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe here.

It was fab except for room not made up the second day for some reason not an issue for us but did have to ask for more toiletries. Would like there to be complimentary water each day. But hotel was excellent. Incredibly central and quiet. And awesome pub/ breakfast next door (breakfast included)

Not all parts of the hotel have a lift as the buildings are historical. So not great if you have mobility issues. But the room was spotless and lovely. Would definitely stay again.

My family and I stayed for four nights in a suite and loved the hotel for its location within the old town. Everything is on the doorstep, including a fantastic bar/restaurant which is also used for breakfast. The suite itself was large with a lounge and double sofa bed and seperate bedroom. It was quite basically decorated and basic in facilities but a great size for a family. The air con never worked properly and perhaps it was turned off centrally, although the hotel never admitted as such. I would rather they had if this was the case. We could only open windows during the daytime as there was an annoying noise outside that would disturb sleep, but otherwise this was the only issue. I would recommend the hotel for a central stay if you don’t need luxurious facilities.

A lovely hotel
My wife and I have just returned from 3 a night stay at the Konventa Seta hotel and highly recommend it for a stay in Riga. The hotel is execellently located within the Old Town and within short walking distance to all atrractions in the area. The decor in the hotel is very modern and light. We stayed in the smaller, cosy room but were pleasantly surprised by the size of the room. It had everything needed during our stay, the bed was comfortable and the room clean. We chose to include breakfast, which is served next door in Two More Beers. The food was good with variety of offerings (cereals, fruit, porridge, cooked food and cold meats and salad too) and we were glad we had included this in our stay. We felt this hotel offered great value for the price we paid. A great stay and would look to stay again should we be in Riga.

The Konventa Sēta Hotel is centrally located. 35mins from the airport using bus 22. We got off at the first stop after crossing the bridge (bibliotecka - library) and we used Google maps to check we were heading in the right direction and to locate the hotel. It was a short 10mins walk. The hotel is situated in the old part of the city, the beautifully cobble streets just adds to the overall attractiveness. The hotel is made up of a cluster of old convent buildings with a courtyard linking them up. It looks recently renovated to a high standard. The room was modern and tasteful decorated. The bed was comfortable. Room had a fridge stocked mini bar, kettle, Tv with sone English Channels and lots more. The shower was nice and hot and doors were super thick and very well sound insulated. Everything you’d expect from a well rated hotel. The staff are very helpful and friendly. With a smile and very polite and willing to assist at any time. The jewel in the crown is the location! We didn’t need public transport during our stay as all the attractions are literally at your door step or walking distance. Bars, cafes and restaurants are within walking distance. Breakfast was good with a range of options. I’d definitely recommend this hotel. From arrival to departure we couldn’t speak more highly of the staff and the hotel.
