The room needs a lot of attention to the details. Bathroom was not clean enough, dirty curtains, hair dryer was not working.
This was a wonderful hotel. Very safe and clean. The vip check in was awesome, though slightly inconvenient due to their open hours and number of staff. The room upgrade process was a little confusing but the cost was reasonable and worth the money. The location was great as well. Will definitely return.
This hotel has very good pros and very bad cons. Pros are it has a great lobby, the rooftop pool and bar having beautiful views and is well maintained and the breakfast offered was really good on most days. The cons are the room itself if absolutely disgusting and we really had to power through the stay. As clean as the hotel is in common areas thats how dirty the rooms and washrooms are. Our ceiling in the washroom started leaking, they didnt believe us the first day and didnt even send anyone in to clean it when we asked. We arrived late night to see it was not cleaned so we cleaned it ourselves. Second time it happened we caught it on video and they still refused to give a us a new room, would not let us talk to a supervisor and just said to wait for maintenance. We had to literally yell to get any movement. We lost our view so the extra money we spent for it was gone. We were just happy to not have a leaking roof. They didnt compensate or provide any support for this. Both rooms were dirty and dingy and although the amenities are great, you cant look past the awful rooms and bad service by front desk.

It was great but the roof of the bathroom kept leaking
Beautiful upgraded room, with a special breakfast on the 30th floor. Did not initially know about concierge service to check in. Staff explained VIP benefits upon check-in. Loved our room on a top floor with a living room, kitchen, bedroom, tons of storage, and dining room table in a sunroom looking down on Copacabana Beach. Memorable stay!
I have stayed over 30 times and its a great place with convenient location to restaurants, shopping galore and great views of Copacabana Beach. It has a recently remodeled rooptop infinity pool and solarium. Now, the breakfast buffet auditorium is a disaster. The hotel is always full so breakfast areas are jammed packed and the buffet is mainly at one wall. They should consider having 2 main areas (one being the present wall and the back wall) and 2 separate satellite for breads, cold cuts, juices. I'm telling you, on our last day there must have been 500 people inside. We turned around and went and had breakfast at a local restaurant close by. It was way too crowded. It's a shame
The Check In and Out was absolute chaos and the worst I experienced in Brazil. I stayed two nights and my room was not cleaned once, despite asking.
I literally walked out of the hotel after two days without doing a proper check out as the chaos at reception was too much.
