The location is great, in a safe neighborhood right in the middle of Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. The staff was great, very helpful. The common area (breakfast lobby etc...) are correct. The bedrooms are a total disappointment, especially my bathroom was coming straight from the 80’s in really poor conditions. I closed my eyes and nose (it smelt sewage) when I was showering. It really needs to be renovated. The sleeping arrangement was decent.

Great value for the price
The value for the price was great! Staff was friendly. The bed was comfy. The sitting room could be more modern but was not a deal-breaker for me. All of the rooms have a kitchenette - ideal for longer stays - and most rooms have a balcony. Breakfast was also great!

Brazil and Rio are fake pet friendly country. city Most of the places, restaurants and hotels like Mercury pet rules are completely unclear, they do request a lot of documents which is not specified when you do your reservation including a rule where you cannot let the pet alone in the room. Hotel is well located but room is old and noisy. Definitely will not return.

I had a great room! Very spacious. We enjoyed the hospitality, the guest service was very friendly. The location was perfect, if you take a right your in Ipanema beach and if you take a left your in copa cabana “copanema”. Great stay thank you for all your services.

Great location and concept. I truly enjoy the service and stay. They can improve maintenance as I can see bathrooms and other areas deteriorating. This is a suggestion as I really like the place and the way the staff facilitated everything.

Let's start with what we liked: Quality of breakfast + friendliness and professionalism of the personnel (Issue with the flush; Solved extremely quickly. safebox locked: Opened quickly too) + location right between Ipanema and Copanema (walking distance in both directions) What we did not like: The rooms are getting very old and need to be renewed, beds not that great. Overall, we liked it because of the location as we did not spend much time in the room anyway.

good budget hotel
if you are just looking for a short stay close to the border of Ipanema and Copacobana this is the right hotel to stay at although a few blocks away from the beach i didn't mind since i like to walk for the price it is ok and enough space with kitchen and sofa bed, the bathroom too small and you can hear the guest with loud voice from the other room would still come back here

Staff is very nice, helpful, and prompt.
This is the third time I stayed at this hotel. As always, the staff was wonderful. The room, on the ninth floor, was very quiet and the amenities were very good. I would stay there again.

Out of 3 hotels I stayed in copacabana this time Adagio was the most friendly and the most pleasant experience. It is very well positioned just a short walk to ipanema or copacabana. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will stay there again. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES STAY IN ORLA COPACABANA HOTEL - It is worst experience out of 3 hotels I had ..terrible staff, extremely overpriced for what it is which is basically a 2 star hotel claiming to be a 4 star. Staff is racists and homophobic.

Nice hotel close to beaches and grocery store
Hotel is clean and well maintained. Staff very professional with immediate response to our requests (bringing additional sheets, towels, unlocking safe box). Stable internet connection. The area is nice and safe within walking distance to Ipanema and Copacabana beach. Convenient free of charge valet parking beside hotel. Nearby streets are brimming with restaurants and shops for evening outings. The staff agreed to take care of our luggage since check-out till 8pm due to our late night flight. Would recommend the hotel without hesitation.

Apartment/Hotel Property in Good Neighborhood.
Pros: Great location, clean property, friendly & helpful staff, I liked the combination of having an apartment in a hotel-type property. The location on the border of Ipanema and Copacabana was conventient it's in a nice neighborhood. Cons: The street noise could be heard inside the room and the air-conditioning was very cold no matter what setting. I ended up having to turn it on and off a lot to try and keep a comfortable temperature. Would I stay here again? Yes
