The room and bathroom were both very nice, clean and comfortable. There is a beautiful leafy terrace outside where you can sit and enjoy the lovely breakfast that’s provided. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. I would recommend staying here :)

The people working there were great. The property could use an uplift, a little paint and renovations goes a long way. An updated kitchen and faucet that doesn't leak!! And the rooms were small for 3 people. Area was fine. We would not be back. Thanks

Cynthia and Joseph are wonderful! Always willing to help with anything you need! I love her plants in the patio. The place is simple, but you're well taken care of with Cynthia's willingness to help! I highly recommend this place! Lovely neighborhood also!

Great location , very clean rooms. The patio which any one can use during the day or night is great . We sat out at night and had a bottle of wine . Cynthia the young lady that runs the property is lovely and is very helpful. Also a big plus you are near the Metro stop Ottaviano and there are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby as well as phone stores if you need a SIM card for Italy.

This is a basic room in Rome, which means you’ll have a bathroom and a bed, and not much else. There is a very small kitchen with some amenities available, and a nice little dining area you can use for takeaway food. You cannot cook in the kitchen, although I’d gladly have paid more for the option of using the stove. The location relative to the Via Ottaviano Metro stop, the Trionfale district, and Vatican City is wonderful. Just remember. You’re largely paying for location and not for a large fancy room and you’ll be fine. The staff is actually very nice, and I feel the need to comment on this. Before we arrived, they gave me check-in instructions and a phone number to text 30 minutes before arrival. This is the first hotel in Rome I’ve been to (and I’ve stayed in 6) that accommodated an early check-in with absolutely no hassle. I can’t begin to describe how nice it is to check in right after a flight and a train ride. This is a no-frills, location-based hotel with very good service and a nice included breakfast (salame, cornetti, cappuccini, yogurt). It’s located at the intersection of the Trionfale and Prati neighborhoods, and is a stone’s throw away from great markets, restaurants, and bakeries.

THE place to stay when in Rome
This was our 2nd stay and it didn't disappoint. Clean, quiet and safe. Great location-a 5 minute walk to the Vatican.Easy to reach- bus from the airport to Termini train station (6 euros), 5 stops on metro (less than 2 euros), and 5 minute walk. Pratinn feels like a cosy, authentic home. While some of the rooms are small, they provide everything you need, including coffee and tea, hairdryer, safe, over and above other more standard room facilities. Breakfast (incl), can be eaten on the patio, where you can watch all the activity of the city, or just sit out and read and relax. Much better than an impersonal hotel for a lot less money.. Cyntia, the manager, not only extended our check out time (very dependent on the check-in time of the next guest), but allowed us to store our luggage, and have use of the patio for seven hours beyond our check out time. We cannot say enough positive things about Pratinn- when in Rome we will not stay anywhere else.

Good location, just a few minutes away from Vatican and tube station isn’t so far away. We took the bus from Fiumicino and it was about 20 minutes from bus stop. Room was clean and comfortable with in-suit shower room. There was a kettle and a mini fridge. Tea and bottled water were provided as well as small toiletries and slippers. A nice little breakfast was served in the kitchen and we were told that we could use the kitchen if desired. There’s a balcony where breakfast can be served, weather depending. Staff were friendly and helpful. Reception is not open 24h, but we received keys for the front door and gate. Mobile numbers were provided if we needed to contact them and it was easily done via txt or WhatsApp message. Overall we were pleased with our stay :)

We enjoyed our stay at Pratinn Vatican. Cynthia and the staff were warm, welcoming and very accommodating. The room was clean and tidy with comfortable bed and ensuite. Good shower. The location is very good - only 10 minute walk to the Vatican Museum and 15 minute walk to St Peter's Basilica and Square and Castle D'Angelo nearby. Metro is near and also Carrefour and Co-op supermarket 10/15 minute away. Would use again.

Pratinn Vatican is a real authentic Italian apartment which has been converted into a bed and breakfast. We had the smaller room, which was ample to our needs. En - suite bathroom, comfortable bed, kettle and t.v. Lovely terrace area to eat breakfast or sit and have an evening drink. Breakfast ample - cereal, cold meats, croissants, cheese, fresh fruit and of course coffee and tea. Staff fantastic and very friendly nothing too much trouble, . (Practice your Italian, they would appreciate it). Central location. Vatican, Vatican museum & Sistine chapel - 5/10 minutes walk. We walked to all the sites from the Pratinn. If you are expecting 5 Star plus accommodation this is not for you. However, if you are looking for a homely comfortable place to stay I would recommend. When I am returning to Rome - I will be making arrangements to stay at the Pratinn.

Great location
Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were so comfy and the room itself was quite modern. The breakfasts in the morning were quite simple continental breakfast but there was plenty to eat to start the day before lots of walking. The area of the hotel was so close to the Vatican that it literally took about 5 minutes to get there. Even some of the other tourist bits weren't that far to walk on a nice day. The metro and bus stops were close by which we found helpful to get to the Colosseum and to Trastevere which was great for restaurants and bars. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Bad place to stay
No one to let us in to hotel which was more of a bed and breakfast then a hotel. The refrigerator did not work, it was replaced with one that also did not work. There is no closet and the small rod for hanging close was so high that my wife could not reach it. The free breakfast was very good and enjoyable. I will not stay there again.
