We received a pleasant, hospitable greeting when we arrived. Rafael spoke and understood some English, we were so thankful for that. His helper, no introduction, was unfriendly, unaccomodating. The personal safe was handy. I needed water for tea in the morning, it was there, I needed and asked for some in the evening-that must have been too much for them, it didn’t happen. The beds are very hard, temperature fine and manageable, plenty of towels. It needs a new shower head, also drains slowly, we had to stop shower in middle so it would not over flow. Our Continental Breakfast was breads, pastries, packaged jellies and cheese spreads. The dried cereals seemed old. I was hoping for boiled eggs and possibly a fresh fruit. Milk was curdled on the 3rd day. I actually like the place and location, I wish it had decent beds and better care.
