The property overall was decent. I felt it was less safer than others in Rome but something can be said for 2 things. 1. The reception man Hassan is very warm, organized, and helpful. 2. Location is EASY to walk to Colosseum, Roman forum, and palatine hill. I did feel safe but I do feel that the area around the Colosseum is a little rougher. However, if you are visiting this area and want convenience I’d book this stay again!

Room was small but clean. We had trouble getting into the property and saw others have the same issue. Can't use key lockbox if you have long nails. Staff was friendly and location is great!

Check in was horrible This is not a hotel. It is a hallway in an apartment where no staff was present The address is confusing. Entrance is down an alley but listed as on Marco Aurelio st with a street number inconsistent with the location of the alley. The owner asked me to use online checkin a lengthy process, which finally crashed at the last step which involved paying a 5 euro surtax to some third party site. When I finally found the entrance there was no response. Having just arrived from the USA I was unable to get online Eventually another guest let me in, I accessed WiFi, completed the lengthy checkin process and entered my room. Having said all that the room and bathroom were spotless and tastefully decorated. Checkin was a nightmare. After that all was excellent

Wonderful!
Loved this establishment! CLEAN, so clean and large room with some modern features. Safe, secure and quiet. Near a police station and just off the main roads. Less than 5 mins walk to coffee bars and restaurants. Also two small grocery stores in the area. Less than 10 mins walk to Colosseum. No full time front desk but they met us on arrival to show us the building and ensure we had everything we needed. We took them up on their offer to book us a “limo” (not a stretch of course, given street sizes, more like a town car and quite nice). This was a great idea - good price and driver was waiting with our name on a sign in the airport arrivals area. Super efficient. Best guest house we’ve stayed at so far in our European city hop. Absolutely recommend

The location is prime and very close to the Colosseum. There are plenty of cafés surrounding the area as well, which made finding local foods easy. Hassan the manager was extremely helpful in answering any and all questions I had for this trip I had planned to Rome. Our flight came in late so we received instructions that were easy to follow once we were on the property. The room was clean, quiet, and well kept. I highly recommend this place to anyone wishing to be close to the Colosseum! We had a great time while in Rome :)

Pros: friendly staff, close to main attractions and public transportation, felt safe in the area as a solo female traveler, friendly staff, consistent wifi, good ac, restaurants nearby Cons: ants in shower and room, mosquitoes in room even though windows were never opened, room 1’s shower doesn’t drain until 15mins after you’re out the shower so you have to shower in a puddle of your shower water, room 8’s button to turn the overhead shower is broken so you have to lodge something in it to keep it clicked down, no full length mirror, staff only present on property in the morning, single rooms were small, property tax is an additional charge outside of expedia that I found out about the day before arrival

The best hotel service and amenities for a tourist. The staff made sure we were comfortable in the hotel and around Rome, showing us guides to restaurants and attractions and giving general advice about the city. As a tourist from outside the EU, they made me feel at home.

For the price this is definitely worth it. I never felt unsafe, there is a police station right next to the building. The workers were very friendly and we were able to walk pretty much everywhere (all the main attractions besides Vatican). There are many food options nearby and shops with basic necessities. You can also request airport transfers if you want. I would stay here again.

Awesome location, spacious and beautiful bathroom, strong AC. Instructions for after hour check in was also clear and it was helpful that there was a drinking fountain right across the street. You really can’t beat the location of this hotel and the service was great.

Cute property, right next-door to a police station, quiet area, the front desk is only there sometimes. The air conditioning worked well and the bed was very comfortable. The only problem I had was that the water in the shower didn’t drain until after the shower was over, also they don’t have a place to store your luggage, so you kind of have to manage your time around that. Although they were nice enough to hold my bag for 30 minutes while I went to get a cup of coffee. Five minute walk to the Colosseum, plenty of little restaurants in the area. Overall a nice stay and would recommend.
