The hotel was perfectly positioned in the heart of Trastevere, surrounded by lovely little piazzas hidden amoung beautiful buildings on cobbled streets. A short walk from the main road and the river where the buses run, and only a 20 minute walk from central Rome. The owner was incredibly welcoming and very helpful, providing us with a map and information about the city. Great local bar downstairs with cheap drinks - would say that this is perhaps a venue ideal for younger rather than older people. Noise from the bar is noticeable, and can go on until the early hours of the morning, however the double glazed windows conceal the noise well. Our room was nicely decorated and very clean, we had a private bathroom just across the corridor which followed the same format. All in all this is a fantastic place , the only drawback being the late night activity from the bar below, hence why it is probably best for younger people. It didn't bother us at all, but might not be quite right for others.
