Great place to stay in Rome for a few days, possibly longer. We stayed for 2 nights as a family of 4 and this suited us well.
Initial check-in was annoyingly slow as the room wasn't ready and we had to wait around 20-30 minutes whilest it was being prepared; particularly frustrating on a hot and humid day after travelling and wanting to freshen up. We'd also received a telephone call earlier in the morning from the hotel to ask us when we'd be arriving and we'd stated 2pm, the check-in time. Certainly not the express check-in as stated.
The room was great for us with a double bed and double sofa bed for the kids, it was a fresh, clean, modern look and air conditioned. The outside noise (general city traffic, etc.) was well blocked out by the double glazing. Quite comfortable.
The buffet breakfast was a bit of a stretch as a description since it consisted of sliced bread to make your own toast with some small jams (the plastic pot kind), coffee using the Nespresso machine (great for coffee lovers), and tea (probably best to bring your own). We were given vouchers for a cafe/restuarant nearby (5 mins walk) to use for breakfast and we found this option better as it was a continental style (croissant, jams, nutella, tea or coffee) and... we didn't have to make it! Also great to take in the city life going by when sitting outside.
Overall this is a great little place to stay.
