Overall not a bad place. The people amazing, employees are amazing. When we came in our elevator was broken so I needed to walk 77 steps 3 times up and 3 times down in order to carry all the luggage. There is a public bathroom downstairs in the “lobby” but it’s horrible. You walk through a back alley with carts and tunnels. When you do your business, the bathroom is super small but that’s not the worst. There is a leaking bowl that drip drops “water” on you. (I don’t think it was water) the hotel is pretty small. Showers are tiny too. People great. Staff amazing. Clean place just old and rustic.

Casa Santa Sofia was an excellent place to stay. There are so many places to eat in and around the area, and a stone’s throw from the Roman Forum and Colosseum. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

This is the perfect hotel for a 2 nigiht stay in Monti, Rome. Casa Santa Sofia is situated in a small square with several cafes and restaurants nearby. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. The only downfall was that there was no tv, no big deal. I would stay here again. Thank you 😊

Excellent, just know the regular rooms have no TV.
The hotel is very nice. The staff are very helpful. They spoke very good English. The location was great! Only a 5 minute walk to the subway. Plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The only minor thing is that the regular rooms do not have a television or any place to sit besides the beds. We chose to upgrade to a suite in order to have a little more room and a television.

Nice and helpful staff. The hotel is in a cute little piazza and there are some cafes right next to it. A beautiful church right across the street and 8 minutes walk to the coliseum. They have an elevator and air conditioners. Perfect stay for me

It was nice hotel, safe area, rooms are ok.The only suggestion is they need better way to cover the light in the rooms that are facing the street. Maybe better curtains because was a little hard for me to sleep with all that light at night. Also the bathroom is very small.

Lovely hotel by the Colosseum
Super cute boutique hotel in walking distance to the Colosseum! 2-3 blocks at most! The hotel is conveniently located in a little square with eateries and shopping. I loved the herbal scents of the soaps and lotion in the bathroom. I'd stay herw again!
