This hotel has been closed for over a year. I paid Expedia for this hotel in full, plus local taxes and insurance. We arrived jet lagged late at night to discover this hotel had been shut down. A local restaurant owner managed to get the hotel owner on the phone for me. He told me he had informed Expedia many times and this keeps happening, he doesn’t receive any money from Expedia. I have informed Expedia obviously and I am still waiting on a full refund. They are still promoting hotel. I will never book a hotel through Expedia again!

This was very economical for which I was grateful. The staff were polite and welcoming, the room clean and in good order. The only improvements I would suggest would be the shower really needs more pressure and heat. The flow was almost only dripping. Also, the room ventilation and air-conditioning was poor which meant it was rather a bit too warm to sleep well. Finally the bathroom design was tight. However, overall, as my stay was only brief, it was perfect as it was very cheap and I spent very little time in the room.

Victoria at the front desk and Dante porter/breakfast server were especially courteous and helpful. Room,although on the small size, had all conveniences we needed. Wonderful location to great restaurants and sights.

Pros: Great location with access to metro, Spanish Steps, shopping and dining; cute lobby and very friendly staff, typical breakfast for Europe served in rooftop setting was charming; affordable price; comfortable bed; air conditioning (a must in summer). Cons: workmanship in bathroom is very poor: funny smell in the room perhaps from past smokers; art pieces odd and oddly placed in room.

The location of the hotel was perfect. Not far from the Spanish steps. It was just what I needed. The room was tiny and the walls were thin and I could hear everything going in around me. However, for the money I paid for a flight plus hotel I think it was exactly what I expected. I needed to have a place to sleep but was out and out almost all day every day.

Nice front desk staff- clean rooms- amazing location - 5 minutes walking to the Spanish steps and the spagna metro station. Good breakfast set up and fabulous cappuccino! It had everything I needed for a great trip.

Location is great. The staff is exceptional. Rooms are small but fine. It was really hot in Rome the week I stayed; the A/C broke in my room one evening, they had a repairman the next day (he diagnosed but didn't actually repair), so they put me in another room; that A/C also was not working, so they put me in a 3rd room where it worked just fine. Breakfast was good, staff friendly.
