It is very hot in the room, we went in Oct 18, 2024. It is no air conditioning. The shower door is very very small. We are small people , but we almost can’t get it to shower. If you are over 160 lbs, i guarantee you can’t get in the shower. Attached is the pictures you can compare the door and a small garbage can size.
The ONLY thing this place has going for it is the proximity to the train station which comes super clutch. The worst hotel I have not only stayed at in Italy but ever. I was up the whole night as the room was boiling hot and when you try and open the window so much construction I did not sleep the whole night. Went to the front desk and they offered to put us in a staff room on the 6th floor which stank of cigarettes. We opted to stay awake in our room. The fan was dusty and extremely loud and the shower was literally a joke. Spend a little extra and stay away from this place.
This hotel is SO convenient if you have to catch an early morning train! The Rome Termini is directly across the street. Our room was amazingly comfortable and there were plenty of restaurants in the area that were within walking distance. The only issue we had is that for some strange reason - the heat was on (as opposed to the air conditioning). (It was still in the 70's!) Luckily there was a big window that we could open. We mentioned it to the staff and they said that was usual???

Location right across from train station. Location good for catching train or taxi. Workers friendly and helpful. Room extremely hot! No ac, had to sleep with window open and was loud and helped only a little. They said they had to change the AC to heat this time of year. It was still hot out. Also, shower will not fit anyone overweight. Had to squeeze through a small opening to get in and out. This place was not for us.

The hotel is conveniently located across from the most major metro station in Rome which is a plus. However, the staff were not eager to be hospitable. Our assigned room was very smelly. Room 25. The staff acknowledged the smell, but said they were fully booked and opened the window as a solution. I expressed my disapproval. We were then offered a small and dark closet size room with stains on the wall and without a shower stall as an “emergency replacement.” I was told there was nothing else available and I would not be able to talk about a price adjustment until after we stayed the night. Again I express my disapproval. I started looking for another hotel and called Expedia to let them know what was happening. Suddenly the hotel “found” another larger room that we could use for the night. We were then required to pack up and change rooms the next day to our rightful room category. Also unless we wanted room 25 again we had to until check in for another room. The point is they were not eager to right their wrong. I feel the hotel knew they had an issue with that room so they had us pay for our stay when we dropped our bags off and had not yet seen room 25. At that time the room was allegedly being “cleaned.” This aggravated the situation because this means housekeeping smelled the odor and did not care. Also the shower stalls in the other rooms are 2x2 ft wide. There is no AC available despite them advertising there is AC. We sweat through the day and night.
Very close to the main train station(Rome Termini)metro and airport buses. Good sized quadruple room with private bathroom. Staff were very welcoming. The reception and bedroom were very clean. Fantastic water pressure from the shower. The only very minor issue was that the mini fridge didn't work but it wasn't a concern for us.All in all it was a very good hotel to stay at.
The property and staff were lovely, but construction was going on till 3-4 am and very loud. At times it felt like the building was shaking. It was very difficult to sleep with the loud noises. The staff was apologetic, but it was difficult to get adequate rest.
We had an early morning flight, so the night before, we asked for a wake up call. They offered something even better - a wake up knock ! Our phone alarms didn't sound because of the time zone - so thank you Hotel Marisa for making sure we caught our flight !!
The front desk personnel were great. They told us how to walk to one of our sites, and transfer by metro to the other site. Recommendation of Ristorante Andrea for dinner was excellent. Breakfast buffet was very nice, good selection and wonderful employees who were very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable with adequate receptacles for CPAP, phones, and laptop. Location was an easy walk to Termini Train Station.
Absolutely perfect for us. Directly across from Rome Termini. Our room was 10/10 clean. 15’ ceilings. Spacious. Air conditioning. Expresso machine in the breakfast area. The front desk staff were amazing with recommendations and direction. Perfection.
